Scarecrow
In Montreal you can buy Nahkla for 15$ per 250gr at most arab stores. Must be an equivalent in TO.
D15L
haha mann if you heard about my situation it'd make you feel at least a bit better. Where i live it costs 20 dollars.. yeahhh 20 fuckin dollars for 50 grams of nakhla! and 35-40 dollars for 250 grams!! Makes me tear up everytime i buy some

D15L
yeahh man and if i order it basically comes out to around the same price plus waiting time. Cause shipping is i think around 25 dollars for me and everything after the shipping comes to around the same price. PLUS like a weeks waiting time
jmexx
I've been able to get around custom fees and taxes. Per box you'd pay like 30-40$ of customs. The hookah lounge I go to is considering to sell Fumari tobacco (the tobacco they use,) to the public at something close to 70$ per 250 grams or like 30$ per 100 grams. The reason why we find Nakhla for 15$ for 250 grams is because they basically go to the states, pick up tobacco and come back. I end up paying about 15$ for 250grams of Al Amir, shipping included. It's been awhile since I've ordered and I hear they're cracking down on the shipping companies but so far any store that uses USPS has been OK for me... GQ_Playboy
....$40 a box... thats absurd.... god Canada is so gay about some things... liquor and tobacco to say the least.... get rid of free health care and stop taxing the hell out of us! its not even worth it... im still paying 15 G's a year to get edumacated.... gunsboy
There is a store I think called Aswaq Al Muna in missassagua, it was selling AlFakher, but a friend of mine bought one and he said its expired and could be the fake kind. He smoked it once and he got so sick for a couple of weeks. He could not smoke shisha for a month after that. Alladin shisha sucks, they never clean their hookahs, Oasis is ok but too busy and there is a seating time limit.
Claytron
Sounds like someone in canada needs to start making Shisha because they will make a boatload of cash.
yashman19
Sounds like someone in canada needs to start making Shisha because they will make a boatload of cash.
It's not just shisha thats getting hit hard with a tax, its all tobacco. So if he wanted to start making it, would still have to pay an arm, leg and maybe a lung to bring in tobacco to make shisha.Just set up a shop close to the border, buy a vehicle suitable for smuggling ie large hidden compartments, and hope to never get caught

gunsboy
You need a good marketing/distrubution scheme and a good financial back and you will make alot of money selling wholesale tobacco. The tobacco that 99% of people smoke here is Nakhla Double Apple and when they think they are hardcore smokers, they smoke Nakhla Strawberries or Fruit Cocktail. People tend to think Nakhla is a premium shisha... I wish that there is AF and AA distributor here ..
