AbuNafkha
Whatever tobacco you use as its base, its best to wash it (rinse and dry).Rinse twice if the tobacco is very strong. It tkes the nicotine out. You'll have to add glycerine to it once its completely dry.Don't drown it in glyceine nor add too little. I do this for pipe tobacco and of course add no flavour. Edited February 1, 2012 by AbuNafkha
Bawhee
Actually if you like flavored tobacco you can add food flavorings, but im not sure what kind. Ive heard that alcohol based flavor concentrates work well but I havent given it a try myself, also using dried and finely diced fruit is supposed to work. [/quote] Don't use alcohol flavors, they will burn off under the heat and taste awful. The more natural flavor extracts are (lesser % of alcohol) the better they work, like mint for example. If you want to use flavorings, buy candy oils as they are made to withstand high heat.
weslypipes
So would these be the appropriate oils to use? https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors.aspx

Some are way stronger than others though so tread carefully. Making a smooth, tasty, smokeable shisha is a very delicate balance of quality ingredients.
