alex.padmore
Ive never had problems smoking any tangiers until I tried out M-cherry noir, and for some reason I can't get a good strong flavour.. There is next to no flavour on the inhale and a weak flavour on the exhale. I'm packing it the same as I do for all the other tang I smoke which is as per Chreees' how to vid on packing a crown micro phunnel.. Any ideas why? Arcane
cherry flavors are just stubborn in general. make sure it's acclimated and pack it tighter than normal and up the heat you'd normally use. one of two things should happen...1) it'll end up working or 2) it'll end up really REALLY bad. good luck! mushrat
id say mess with the heat before messing with the packing....
Stuie
Yeah it might be too much heat. I typically get it smoke great... I can't think of what I do different. I do pack tights in a small phunnel Heavy Duty foil and Coconara Cubes
Rani
Maraschino Cherry is a very delicate flavor. Not delicate as is taste but in handling. It's one of those very volatile flavors that easily changes with air exposure, humidity, etc. I have to keep mine in a tightened down plastic bag inside a tub to make sure it stays stable. And I live in California less than 2 hours from where it's manufactured. Sometimes it just ain't so good because of how easily the flavor is effected. But when it's good, it's the bomb. ninzaburo
I've been using two coconara's cut in half with a normal pack on MCherry and it smokes great. I left i out for about 4 hours and it was fine... I live in CO though so I don't really have humidity issues up here :/ Also, recently learned, if you mix it 50/50 with New Lime you get a fantastic Cherry Limeade. Judy Oma
M Cherry seems to lose flavor quickly for me - it also picks up off-flavors quickly too. Right now I have a 200g of really unbearable marachino cherry/curry. Left it open for a half hour in the dining room while cooking a fabulous indian curry, oops. Have tried to air it out a few times - the m cherry is fading away but the curry is there to stay, I'm afraid.
Pavo21
yah i live in socal i've never had issues with this falvour at all, but if it doesn't work after doing the 3-4 hours acclimation try to put it in the freezer for 20 min reset the molicules and then let it sit for about 1-2 hours where u would smoke hookah outside or in a room or house and they try it also pack it tight like it looked like in the package and yes coal control will make or break it you can put say 2 coals in the dead center of the bowl and that might help it smoke better instead of on the outside of the bowl i do that sometimes and it smokes better because of the phunnel it will not burn as much and possibly give it more flavor
