Bowl Warmer?

Recommended Posts

I was at a hookah bar last week and before settings coals upon, they gave me the bowl for a whiff and I noticed the bowl itself was warm. The second thing I noticed was after they placed bowl on the hookah and the coals on the bowl, I had insta-clouds on the first draw.

Any ideas how this was achieved? Microwave before foil? Special bowl keep warm device?

Hot kitchen area? how warm was the bowl?

Some people have mentioned putting the bowl in the oven while setting everything else up. Seems like a lot of trouble to me.

That's cool about letting you smell the bowl, kind of like smlling the cork from a bottle of wine. Seema like a classy lounge. Edited by Skoozle

just a few degrees under being hot. I could hold it in my hand for awhile but eventually I would need to put this down to prevent pain. Yeah, probably my 2nd best lounge experience. They used natural (wood) coals and the guy was on top of coal replacement.

I routinely preheat glass jars before pouring wax in them. I turn the oven temp to its lowest setting and once that temp is reached, I turn the oven off and put the jars in. They come out just shy of being too hot to touch, maybe 140 degress or so. When I get home this weekend I may try it with one of my hookah bowls and let y'all know how it works.

they could have had the coals on the hookah before they brough it out yet warming it out i know some lounges do that or pre smoke the bowl for you see if it tastes right and smokes ok i always do a couple draws before i get the hookah out at the lounge make sure it works right and smokes good

maybe somebody else was using it previously and they cleaned/repacked while it was still pretty warm (?)

i know at home when i do back-to-back sessions and i clean the bowl out quickly it retains quite a bit of heat.

Just the bowl so its warm. I will only heat tobacco if I left my tobacco in the car during the winter. If its hard to mix and tobaccco not at room temp, then I throw my jar in the microwave for a few seconds to get it to room temp.

Could just be that they just used that bowl, cleaned it, and repacked it. My bowls retain the heat for a while, they warm but not overly hot, makes the warm up process much faster
