But assuming the part about the reactivity of the metal is correct, would it not be counteracted somewhat by the fact that the base is also metal? Sure, it does come in contact with less reactive metal, in the stem, but a higher percentage of the surfaces it comes in contact with, (100%, sans bamboo) is said reactive metal. [/quote] Aluminum/Stainless Steel will not cause a reaction that converts CO to CO2. If the Goza is made with Brass/Copper there is more of an opportunity for the CO to be converted to CO2.
