tranoid no ki
I was wondering if there was a carrying case or something for hookahs. I have seen chinese hookahs that have those briefcase like carriers, and I have a sahara smoke bag, but it doesn't really do much in terms of protection, as it's basically cardboard wrapped in nylon. I have a 2011 KM Trimetal, and was wondering if there was a nice hard case available for something of that size, or if you all recommend something else. Thanks! Dave Klier
I see some of those breifcases with a hard cover and molded foam on the inside holding the hookah in place... But you had to buy the specific hookah that fit in it....
dizzbizz
I just use a duffel bag and throw it all in there. I use a towel or something like that to wrap the fragile stuff in.
Skoozle
I was looking into this for a while before I just bought a Mya. The two options I was pursuing were an acoustic guitar case and a cheap plastic tool box. The guitar case would have been cool as shit, but they are hard to track down in good shape and for a reasonable price. The tool box would not be as cool, but one can be had in almost any size and for less than $20 at your local hardware store. Let us know if you come up with something. grock
soft bass guitar bag. Tall enough for my 32" tri-metal, with a 10" windcover. Has a couple inches to spare at the top, but overall it works fairly well. Just have to make sure, like others have said, to pad it with newspaper or a towel. Id really love to get a hardshell bass guitar case, or a Pelican case.
Floataround
What everyone said was good advice. When I was transporting one of my pipes for use I would just use a compartmentalized backpack. Part of the stem would stick out but it was secure. But after dealing with it...you are really much better off getting a smaller hookah for transport. I recommend a Goza or any small MYA that comes with a case.

[/quote] Yeah its not the safest way to carry it but the easiest. Can hold bowls tobacco then km and hose fine without worry of breaking your base, just watch how you set it down or glue in some foam like im planning
Chreees
I just use one of the cardboard boxes one of my hookahs was shipped to me in. I use it to store two of my shanks and two vases plus two hoses at home, but when I'm taking a hookah somewhere, I just take everything out and put whatever I want to take in the box. Sometimes it's just one hookah, sometimes two. If it's just one hookah, my tobacco (I usually bring a few containers so I have a few flavors for people to pick from), box of coals, foil, oyster fork, phunnel bowl, tongs, hose, and windcover will all fit in the one box. If I'm bringing two hookahs, just the hookahs go in that box and I pack an additional smaller cardboard box for the tobaccy, coals, and whatnot. It goes straight to the trunk of my car and then out to where ever I'm going to set up at, so no need really for any kind of bag that I can carry on my shoulder or anything.
