Chreees
Are those in any way similar to aFires?

I mean, obviously coals... but i've never heard of them. With cocos, you know what quality youre getting.
very true, but thats not a bad deal, I wonder how they stack up in the hookah world
Coals made from coconut shells have been around for long time until some smart business person decided to market them for hookah use. These are supposed to be all natural and don't have any chemicals/starter fluid but feel free to coontact the company and ask questions.
jordan
Are those in any way similar to aFires?
I looked into aFire a while ago and they are also coconut shells but there shape and size are odd and large so you have to do some work but from whay people told me ( I personally never used them) they work great. This brand however looks more suited for hookah ( the cube shape) and it is hell cheap for somebody who uses alot of coals. The company's website has more info : http://www.charcos.biz/testimonials
Stuie
I have a box of aFire's Haven't got around to trying them. Looks like it's a lot cheaper to buy from them than Amazon. 7.50 for 3KG.
Chreees
Well reason I asked is because I've tried aFires and they were great except for one thing- SMELLED HORRIBLE!!! Only during lighting, but I couldn't use them again after that.
