The reason being, is they don't smoke as well as single hose pipes, there are more places to have air leaks, and more places for things to break. That being said.. The mya multihose hookahs have little screw-in plugs, that cover where other hoses can be installed. Simply remove those plugs, and replace with a hose port (can be purchased through many online retailers, and some local hookah shops) also, you will need more hoses to complete the setup. I like others on the site, also do not suggest multi-hose pipes. Single hose pipes work just the same in my mind. With a multi-hose, still only one person can take a hit at one time, just like a single hose. Also it is not very difficult to pass the hose in a single hose. And part of the appeal of hookah is that it induces socializing and conversation. With a single hose, you tend to have more people talking as they pass the hoses, often times with a multihose pipe, I've seen people sitting on their phones just puffing away silently, no-one talking. this is my .02. but converting yours to multi-hose would not be very difficult
king_lunchb0x
I to am not a fan of multi-hose anymore. however if this is what you want then we will try to help. Best thing to do is to post pics of what hookah you have...so we can tell exactly what it can add or not add. At the bare minimum find a link from a website to the exact model...but pics would be best to suit this situation. dizzbizz
yeah if you just want to make the mya mulitple hose hookah you just need the hose adapters and screw them in. Its simple and very user friendly. I put a couple hoses on my mya when need be. I like having multiple hookahs though. It looks cooler.

A13lackFish
Multihose pipes tend to hold problems. You likely dont need an upgrade as Mya hookahs are typically made to last just as well as any of the others. But I will recommend a KM from my personal experience. I know they tend to cost an arm and a leg, but mine is going on 5 years strong now with not a single issue.
Chreees
These guys have covered it perfectly, but I just want to add that when I used my Mya QT with two hoses I actually preferred the ports to NOT have the little auto-seal balls in them. Why? Because they would get stuck, and everytime I went to pull I'd have to unstick the ball by pulling harder than usual. It would happen whenever my buddy would pull from his, because when he pulled, he would pull my ball down with force, making it harder for me to pull back up. Does that make sense? We both got fed up with it and took them out. We were both good at plugging our hosetips, like it was instinct, so it wasn't an issue not having the auto-seal feature anymore. Ya know, sometimes I miss those days... Oh, and I'm sure there's a giggidy or two up there in that paragraph.
