Hookah Smoking, Health Effects And Lies?

Recommended Posts

THE REAL QUESTION IS, How much if any smoke is in there as most is obviously vapour from the juice as nothing is BURNED like cigerettes.

The only concern i have, especially if you smoke in bars and cafes is, how clean is the shisha and are the pipes washed.

The real question is radiation, and whether radioactive particles are released without combustion (really, do a search)
I think it comes down to how the tobacco is produced. They need to really take a look at the pesticide usage as those will really contribute to detrimental health. I think it's the pesticides that cause the radiation if I recall properly, when they reach a certain temperature. It would be nice to see Eric and others using organic practices and making sure the soil is healthy and not relying on pesticide use the keep the crops/tobacco alive. And if they are using pesticides, I hope that they thoroughly clean the tobacco when it's farmed. They would need a vegetable soap or use high alkaline water (pH11.5 or higher) to emulsify the fats in the oil used for the pesticides to get them off. This 1 practice alone could help make smoking be a lot less detrimental to our health. Edited by DrSmokes

How much are pesticides used on a plant that is essentially a natural pesticide?

I didn't wanna watch that PSA video because I find myself wanting to hit people really hard when spouting faulse facts about stuff they don't know anything about. So for now, I am satisfied knowing that they are ray tarded.

I've been smoking hookah for about 1 1/2 years and I can tell you I can still run up and down my stairs just fine without losing breath. To me that alone beats out cigs. Hookah smoke is in no way healthy, but it's not as bad for you as cigs. Should try and smoke a bowl through a cotton swab and see if there is anything left in it :) bet you will find hardly anything if anything at all.

In terms of how dirty hoses and hookahs are in lounges, their dirty as shit because 99% of the time they use those cheap non-washable hoses and just dont wash them at all, other times they might use an air compressesor to clean those hoses but still, not good.

And as far as the hookahs in lounges go, from my expeience they don't even really wash them that well, I remember going into a local hookah lounge called kaizads a year ago, sat down at a table with the hookah already there, they put my bowl on, and once i left they took it off and let a new group of people sit down with the exact same setup. I had gone there pretty late at night as well so it wasnt just the beggining of the day.

ALWAYS SMOKE YOUR OWN HOOKAH =]

As George said in Dead Like Me, "Everybody dies."

Smoking is a small price to pay to keep me off a tall tower with a high-powered rifle. :o
