Girls Scout Cookie Time

Saw some set up this week so what will you be picking up?

Plus it's there 100 Year Anniversary which is something to celebrate. The new Savanah Smiles are the commerative cookie for this milestone Lemon cookie in powdered sugar. Haven't tried them yet... but I will.

I always fill my freezer with Thin Mints. Converted a lot of people to do that last year... nothing beats a frozen Thin Mint

The new Thanks-A-Lots maybe my new second favorite. Shortbread with the bottom dipped in chocolate... YUMM!!!

Canon picked up some thin mints and peanut butter sandwiches (chocolate covered) from a guy at work.

I used to be a girl scout, so I have had my fill on thin mints from the freezer...I will not be having any lol.

I used to be a girl scout, so I always support the local troop. I remember being in charge of packing up all the cookies with peoples specific orders and then giving them to the people who took the orders, so for a couple days every year my house was literally filled with Girl Scout cookies.

This was of course back when Samoas were called Caramel deLites, Do-Si-Dos were Peanut Butter Sandwich, and Tagalongs were Peanut Butter Patties. Edited February 23, 2012 by Teganv

Ive never had girl scout cookies... we dont have girl scouts, we have unisex scouts. Also they dont make cookies. Sometimes I wish I lived in the USA.

Sold way too many of the damned things when I was a kid, so I try to avoid them now. I used to work at a place though where the bosses kid would send the order form around. It wasn't what are you buying but "and how many cases are you buying this year?" Hated that little brat. Don't miss her a bit.

They outsource them from two different companies to keep competition up so the names depend on who are making them that year.

I was that brat, going around my dads work, and selling to the boss. Although the boss made me pitch him a sales speech in order for him to "allow" me to go around selling cookies.
