Most reliable type of hookah: KM for sure.
Most reliable hose type: Nammor.
Best bowls in order: Phunnel(small is most idealistic), vortex, egyptian clay.
Best Shisha brands in no particular order: Tangiers, AF, Nahkla, some social smoke, fumari, many many more i cant think of right now.

I mean what your asking for in terms of packing and heat control and smoke output isnt really just one simple tip ya know? I mean its different for every bowl and shisha you use. If you want to use tangiers and a phunnel, chreees has a good tutorial for that you can find on here. If you want to pack starbuzz in a vortex, look up some videos. Theres tons of shit all over that will help you out especially on the forums and YOUTUBEEEEE.

Basically just find what works for you, use it and build off of it. Smoke output will depend on certain factors and heat managment is much different for each brand. Just look all around and you'll get it. Edited by zach

Well to start off Bowls/pipes/hoses/ are going to be based on each persons personal taste.
packing will vary:
the new consensus is that in a Phunnel pack everything pretty tight,
For an EGyptian style bowl--The wetter something is the more fluffy youwant to go. But you want to make sure its full to the top and touching foil is ok.
Heat: heat will vary from tobacco to tobacco. Try to use Nat style coals, there just better. Split them in half to make heat management easier. Tobacco's like Nakhla/Al-waha will need more then then Al Fakher or SB.
Pipe is all preference-- As long as it doesn't leak and your hose will fit no problem then its a good hookah.top brands
Khalil mamoon
Mya
nawras/nour (although the new pipes tend to have spaces in the stem where they weren't screwed together that well and Hose port is small..I had to sand down my small nammor tip just to fit)
Elmas (pricey and with no purge valve, but everyone that owns one loves it t death)
Farida
..There is also a lot of no name Egyptian style pipes that smoke great and don't cost near as much as a brand name egyptian like km

WHat i like, phunnel style bowls/ Long stems and wide gauge hose. I smoke Tangiers 90% of the time occasionally will pick up some Nak or Af. You will pick up on packing and heat management the more times you smoke. Ill admit i still have some bowls i pack like shit and dont smoke all that great..shit happens i guess
