Purple isn't one of my favorite colors, but I'll be picking up a HookahJohn Bohemian base, which, being clear with gold stripes, is hard to color-match effectively. A simple gold finish would flow the best, but then it wouldn't really be any different than it currently stands. I'm thinking purple and gold will be a nice mixture, but not too clash-like. I'm still open to color suggestions, guys. I've toyed with the idea of a "royal blue" sort of color, which will also look great with gold. Unfortunately my first three color suggestions are out.
