Will I Really Benefit From A New Hookah?

Recommended Posts

I'm just sitting here wondering if I really have any need for a new hookah. Now, I currently live in an apartment, so space is at a premium. And I have added many bowls to my collection(crown micro, crown classic, tang small, etc) and I have upgraded to a nammor hose and I upgraded from my QT to my Staff. So I'm asking honestly, would a KM or an Elmas really add anything in the way of the quality of my smoke session. This isn't going to be a thread of "get this hookah cause it's better". I'm asking in terms of quality of the session. So please keep all advice with that in mind. Thanks everyone.

elmas are super cool but you can only use the female bowls unless you get a adapter to make ur bowls fit but they smoke most tobaccos really good, but if u dont wanna spent a crap load get a KM or syrian, or even a mya they smoke good and come in TONS of sizes as you know owning a QT

Honestly, no.

Mya Staff + Nammor hose + excellent selection of bowls = top quality hookah session.

I dare say the only reason you would have to buy another hookah is for "pimp status", because all the gear you listed is A-grade functionality.

You'll have a VERY different smoking experience based on the style of hookah you choose, as others have stated. You don't need to be in a rush I guess, but its hard to know what you prefer until you try other things. Do you prefer the wide open, almost breathing aspect of a KM? Or do you like more restriction - and the "restriction" of a syrian is very different from the restriction of a tall mya, in my experience.

Many of us do not have the option of trying out other styles of pipes unless we buy them - I personally do not have any friends with turkish pipes, so if I want to try one out, I have to throw it in my cart and hit "purchase".

Quality of the smoke, no.

Quality of the session, maybe.

The draws will be different which may affect how you will be smoking. I find with a more restricted draw, I'm more apt to pull a bit slower and things "slow down" for me; allows me to contemplate a few things. A restricted draw is usually quieter as well, so it's better suited for movie watching and the like.

A wider draw is a little more obtrusive, so movie watching may be interrupted whenever you take a pull. Also, I'm a bit more "whatever" and just have fun smoking. I'd probably never use a restricted draw when having my friends over...it'll always be a KM for groups.

These are just off the wall experiences I have and are probably not shared by everyone.
