Scalliwag
Are health food stores the only local places to find it? I found some nice tobacco I want to try to make some smoke with.
yashman19
Not sure if it was vegetale glycerine, but people have found some form of glycerine at Pharmacy type stores like Walgreens.
cymptom
I found some at Whole Foods and a Health Foods store I forget the name of. I'm sure you can also find it online in larger quanities... I was only able to find a small bottle and it was like $4.

The way he said it gave me the impression that was not a good thing. On another site I found where they go into detail on what to do. Sounds like way more trouble than it's worth but I have to try it once. It sounds like a lot of nasty processes to me anyway. Here is that link. It's more pain in the ass to find a health food store that is not out of the way ya know?
mushrat
The other problem is since 911...glycerine is on a bit of a list or two for soem of its other uses im afraid...
ghostofdavid
I was given a food dehydrator by a friend. I'll read that later and see if it is used in the process of making my own shisha.
mushrat
I believe you cook the tobacco, not deyhdrate it....The tobacco should already be cured (dried) with by hanging in the air air or flue cured. You want a few pounds of natual air dried tobacco?
ghostofdavid
I meant more for the adding of fruit pieces, not tobacco.

Sonthert
Natural glycerine is cheaper than synthetic and vegetable tends to be cheaper than animal, although the distinction isn't necessarily made all the time. Where you can get it...I've never really looked into anything other than 55 gallon drums...I hae no idea.
