Feeling a little disappointed guys?

Recommended Posts

I just tried my AF double apple and despite what the smell and colour implied the tobacco tasted nothing like apple. Also it was a little too powerful, the treads I searched mentioned that you should put a little less AF in the bowl then you usually do. Is this what you guys usually do?Also I read in the posts you Americans refering to 'buzz' I am not a 100% sure what the definition is but are you refering to light headedness?Because after only 15 minutes i got pretty light headed.Overall I was expecting a little more from something so expensive. Anyone have a similar experience?

how often to smoke? light headed is part of the buzz, if it was to strong maybe try somthing thats only .05 instead of .5 although im not sure how much AF has. you should get use to the nicotine though, the only other solution i can think of is an herbal shisha like soex but i hear it doesn't taste as good

The 'buzz' is the combined effects of the shisha and the fact that your depriving your brain of oxygen. The main culprit is the nicotine. It will give you a nice 'buzz' depending on the amount in the tobaco. Shisha thats unwashed, such as my favorite too, Nakhala and Al Waha, have higher nicotine count and thus give more nicotine, which gives you a bigger buzz off the nicotine. Add in lack of oxygen, and you get yourself a nice buzz.As for what your buzz is like, its all dependent on how much you smoke, and also your body. I myself get lightheaded, a lil bit sleepy, and just feel good all over. But its diffrent from person to person.

AF has .05 nictonine. keep smoking everyday and you will stop getting buzz's. Personally i love headrush's but i stopped getting them a year because i was smoking 2-3 bowls of nakhla everyday.

I don't know guys, a nicotine buzz shouldn't make you light-headed at all unless you're really not used to smoking. But Al-Fakher tobacco is washed and shouldn't give anyone any nicotine buzz whatsoever. I'm willing to bet that you just got lightheaded from pulling on the hose every 10 seconds. As for the flavor of the tobacco... yeah, it's pretty much just licorice. It mixes nicely, and sometimes I enjoy it on its own... but if you want a better apple flavor from Al Fakher try the Golden Bahraini or Golden Eskandarani.

Can any of those make a good combo with the AF double apple
LoL it means palm tree actually. But no I have tried Nakla it does have that 'buzz' as you americans say but this AF was pretty bad. All I felt like doing afterwards was sleeping
Maybe that was not something that will happen every time. Sometimes I only last 10 minutes and sometimes I can go over an hour and all I smoke at home is Nahklah.
I don't know guys, a nicotine buzz shouldn't make you light-headed at all unless you're really not used to smoking.
Nicotine isnt the main culprit in the light headed department. Lack-o-oxygen. Granted it still does make you a bit, but its the fact that instead of breathing air, your breathing smoke, your brain doesnt have the oxygen it needs. This is also dependent on how you smoke. Some people dont inhale, and those people usually dont get as lightheaded, even with the stronger shisha's. As for me full deep pulls. THe more, harder, longer, and less you breath inbetween determines how light headed you get.

You shouldn't be hitting the hose so often that it gets to the point of lightheadedness. As for not inhaling... I really don't understand when people say that they don't inhale hookah. When you hit a hookah, the smoke goes directly into your lungs. The maximum amount of smoke you can draw without using your lungs is such a miniscule little wisp that it would never be worth smoking in the first place

For me, nicotine is absolutely the main culprit in getting lightheaded. I can smoke ridiculously thick clouds of al amir for quite a bit at a time, but give me nahkla or al waha and I get lightheaded quickly regardless of how thick the smoke is.Also, I think it's possible to smoke without inhaling deeply, which is more reasonable that saying you don't inhale at all, because as cymptom said, it's pretty much impossible to do that.

You add in the nicotine buzz, and it makes it feel even worse. But really attacking the hose can make you pass out. i know, 50 in a row, 50 long hard deep full lung hits, without air in between. Room spinned, then i hit the floor. Woke up 5 minutes later, vertigo for another hour :P Yes i had my young stupid days with the hookah, i have learned ;-)
As for not inhaling... Some think it saves there lungs, some just arent brave enough, others never smoked before and didnt want to. It all just depends. And yea i find it to be a waste of shsiha, coals, and time. As read above, i do inhale :D

Gonna have to add that one :P
For me, nicotine is absolutely the main culprit in getting lightheaded. Each person is affected in there own way. Personaly it just makes me feel good, and a bit of lightheaded, but if i smoke slow and easy, the lightheaded part doesnt effect me too much :D
Also, I think it's possible to smoke without inhaling deeply, which is more reasonable that saying you don't inhale at all, because as cymptom said, it's pretty much impossible to do that.
trust me i know too many people who dont inhale at all. They just dont want to. As i also agreed it is rather pointless, but happens.
