MYA QT, Romman sweet melon, Havana Orange review

Got to smoke my new hookah finally, here are the reviews:[b]Mya QT[/b]:Hits harder than I thought it would. The smoke is hotter than I'm used to, even with fairly little heat. The pull is normal, not too tight or too loose. I think I need to make a diffuser to get the heat down. Then it'll smoke great, because this hookah delivers massive amount of smoke.Overall: 9/10[b]Havana Orange:[/b]Setup: 1.5 Golden QL's, standard water in the base, MYA QTCut: Sticky, ooey gooey red stuff. Not too many stems.Smell/Flavor: Smells like orange soda, tastes like a very light orange soda. Not overwhelming, but nice.Buzz: Non-existent, very light if anythingOverall: 7/10 (Will smoke again)[b]Romman Sweet Melon:[/b]Setup: 1 Golden QL, ice in vase, QTCut: Very sticky and gooey, not too many stems.Smell/flavor: Smells OK, tastes *amazing*. Not a very strong flavor, but I definately taste a nice sweet honeydew.Buzz: Decent buzz (unwashed tobacco), but nothing thatd make me sick (like Nakhla has). Overall: 8.5/10 (Will definately smoke again soon)So it was an overall good experience. I just need to make that diffuser so I can take some longer drags.

wont a diffuser produce more smoke?

not necessarily....the3 diffusors purpose is to break the smoke into smaller bubbles so the it pulls more evenly and the smoke is cooled by the water quicker. since each bubble has a lower volume, it will release a larger percentage of it's heat energy into the water

so whats the end result easier to pull and get thicker smoke? or easier to pull but the smoke is evened out as opposed to thick and lung filling

I don't see how or why it would make the smoke any thicker. The end result is that the smoke is filtered better (that's not to say filtered 'well') and more effectively cooled by the water. The draw will also seem much smoother, as the smoke pulls out the end of the stem in many streams of smaller bubbles as opposed to one stream of large bubbles.

Still got a sore throat from being sick last week, and now ive lost my voice since i went to a concert saturday night

The main purpose of a diffuser for me would be to make the smoke cooler/smoother.
