Travis
Eric said that vendors will have the Pico in about a month.....The post that Chris quoted clearly states "they will be released in regular production soon" I don't understand the confusion, especially since the man that produces these products said it himself. Coyote
Yes that would the simple answer of course. *Comments in this post do not necessarily reflect those of Tangiers Tobacco*

He recently stated somewhere that the problem with mini bowls was that they were too deep for their width. The Pico bowl corrects that problem.
Ok, that I can understand, I just know it seems like everyone on this forum who has a mini LOVES the damn thing, and are so heartbroken when the that bowl breaks cause they can't replace it. I know people have said that when the the mini is for sale, it goes for big dollar prices. I'm just trying to understand that mindset. I also thought the release of the pico was contingent on the sales of the new line, if the bowl will be still sold otherwise, that's great! mavsfan31
I enjoy my mini because it allows me to smoke through it all in three hours or so without wasting any tobacco. It goes for the big prices because they are hard to come by.
DrSmokes
Once this Pico bowl goes on sale...I'm picking up 2-3 of them and 1 newer small phunnel. I don't want to have to worry about this not being for sale again and breaking 1 bowl and getting PO'd lol

They're just hard to come by, and are excellent bowls (I think, and I guess Mavs and other Mini owners as well). Eric won't make them for retail production, because they are not up to his performance standards, hence there is a craze for them. If they were readily available, you wouldn't see such a high price nor would you see people slobbering over them, haha. I'm glad Eric has created a bowl that he himself likes enough that we can all easily enjoy. I don't know about this three-hour business though, mavs... I once did 8 hours on my Mini using Tangiers tobacco (probably the best session of my life, lol). Did you mean with Nakhla or something? If so, then yeah, Nak or AF or another brand like that will last me about three hours.
gramps
I'm not buying another bowl. I'm not buying another bowl. I'm not buying another bowl. I'm not buying another bowl. joytron
Picked up one of these a few weeks ago. I think the spire is too tall on the one I got, and as such I prefer the mini. Thinking about sanding it down and giving it another go.
mavsfan31
Chrees - Three hours is a rough estimate. Some times I push it to a fourth round of coals but usually I stick to three. By that time, I'm ready to smoke something else if I don't already have to run.
Ah, I thought you meant the maximum duration it takes to smoke the bowl all the way through, not smoking to the point in which you get tired and want to switch flavors. mushrat
I am really enjoying this bowl. 2-3 hours of comfortable smoking before the top starts to get a little crispy. Ill take it over my mini any day. (no im not going to sell my mini..sorry)
TheyCallMeDave
Absolutely prefer this bowl over all sized bowls currently in production. Uses maybe 10g more than a crown micro, with all the same happiness filled memories of the ceramic material. I'm more of a coal heay smoker so my PM sessions usually last about 3 rounds of coals, 2 and a half hours estimate. Birquq smokes more effortlessly than ever. Fantastic cloud production, almost a watery, film like residue left in your mouth after each pull, almost like the sensation of eating jello (imagine your first new lime session). The new bowl, is amazing. The new line, is amazing. I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm loving all these new products.
