I was thinking about experimenting... but I might leave that to another order... and then is the golden Al Fakher really better than just regular AF? I am gonna e-mail the dude and see if the screens will fit the bowl...
ZAP
Just send him a PM..I just received my order from him in the UK. I got 20 boxes of tobacco and 1 bowl.He really is a great guy and I am placing a second order with him too.The bowls by the way are made by Tangier and looking at it, I don't think a screen will fit on it. DizzyGuy
Sent him an e-mail through his site... I'm glad to hear that it's the Tangiers bowl, but sad that the screens won't fit :/ Oh well, using a bit more foil won't hurt me Speaking of which, anyone know if the "foil sheets" are worth a damn? I think it'd be nice to have pre cut out foil or w/e
nuschultz
Ive used them. Nothing you cant do yourself with a pin. People complain that it takes so long, it takes abbout 15 seconds for me to wrap a bowl in foil and poke it full of holes.
DizzyGuy
Oh, I've recently been using only foil because my screens are nasty *thus ordering 8 *... I know the poking it full of holes thing, I was just wondering if the foil sheets worked as well as regular foil
DizzyGuy
So yeah... I called PYH before I sent the e-mail and hung up after 2 rings because I realized it was so late.... so yeah... just got a call back from the dude, that was pretty cool, but no, the screens don't fit the x-large bowls... It's ok though cause I know that it will for atleast my other main bowl

cymptom
Let us know how you make out with those Japanese coals, I've been wondering about them...I like using the foil sheets just because they are already cut to the perfect size. Also it's a little easier to poke holes as the foil itself is thinner.
cityboyyy
i heard when the foil is thinner it makes the tobacco easier to screw up/burn
DizzyGuy
i heard when the foil is thinner it makes the tobacco easier to screw up/burn
Just double wrap it then ;)Anyways... I'll keep you updated on this all, I'm ordering tomorrow when I wake up and before work... And I'll tell ya what I think of the coals... but the only time I've used natural coals was with scallywags stuff... I didn't get it light all the way and it ended up messing up some stuff... so you just want to try some for yourself? I'd be happy to send you some if you pick up shipping *or want to send me a little sample of something *
