cafedelmar
isn't it better to get something that will push deeper? that way you get a better air current/flow through the bowl, and more smoke density?
Sonthert
Yeah, bigger holes, too. Good call, Cafedelmar!
allanagami
I find it better not to punch deep, because when you do, you pull the tobacco up against the foil and then it tastes bad. I want to try the puncher, but I usually use a tayloring pin.

camelflage
for an alternative, at the lounge we used a meat tenderizer that we broke the plastic safety cover off of. made nice sized holes and went all the way to the bottom of the bowl. pretty cheap solution for quickly putting the holes in. [LB]
i made my own using thumbtacs, two pieces of plastic and duct tape and im positive it works 100 times better than that waste of cash.
cafesaden
i might be the only one with first hand experience with this P.O.S.thought it might be a good thing if it workedbut the problem with it is that it isnt flat. the "needles" in the middle of this device are shorter then the ones on the outside.so the result is no holes in the middle.don't buy it!
