mushrat
Im sorry, one we dont allow auction type bidding on HF. Two, i dont liek the sound of "anything over what i paid for it". if you are going to raise money, then raise money, if you are going to be making money on it to cover you expenses I don't see it as really raising money for the cause, merely making money for you and anythign left goes the the cause you hold so dear. If you wish to relist this with prices we will be happy to allow it as a private sale.
ChildoftheHorn
I am not making any money on those pipes, people know what I paid for them and where the pieces for those were bought. Prices were posted, anything higher was to be donation. I got them at a very good deal for each piece and the price they went for would have been substantially higher than what I had paid.Azzrian is getting hookah related items/monetary assistance from me so she can still enjoy the hobby without the expense as she is a valued member of our community outside of the public monetary donation. The member in question does know about the sale and the bidding prices are being made public. No one on this forum had officially bid on them. If you do not want it on here, thats fine. Its your forum and you are the rules. Can you please make the sticky a bit more clear on the issue? mushrat
.[attachment=5830:Trades.jpg] Why do people have to blame their not following rules on something other than the fact that they ignored a clearly posted rule? I don't know how to make it any more straight forward than that. I have to admit i don't even know who this Azzrian is, a member on HF? Either way, i have no problem with your cause, it's your methods I question.

ChildoftheHorn
krapplejaxx, If I had more than one spare, I would. I know the guy who heads the ARM division of Ubuntu and might be able to get you some swag if you are a big Ubuntu fan! personally, I like KDE and XFE as better interfaces than Gnome, especially with Unity (which is designed more for children BTW). Run Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Linux Mint, and BackTrack5 in addition to Win7 Ent. + XP and Snow Leaopard Virtual Boxes. If you find yourself in DFW, we have built a few ARM Server Towers/super computers at the Dallas Makerspace and I have 10 Android devices, 2 Playbooks, 2 WebOS, 1 iOS, and 2 WP7 (only paid for 4 of those - less than $200 each). BTW: your package is waiting to be picked up by USPS and I added some Pan in there too for yah!
