Boho Cleaning Advice

Recommended Posts

In a bad or good way? I'm assuming bad... I ask because if it CLEANLY stripped the frost (meaning it looks good now, not shitty), then that would be ideal for a lot of people, myself included, because some people are not a fan of frost on bohos. It sounds like yours didn't strip off cleanly, though. :(

I dunno, is there even a way to cleanly strip off frost? I don't think so. At least, I've never heard of anyone doing it.

Yeah after soaking it for longer it started to take all the frost off and now it looks like a plain vase, unfortunately its hard to keep the gold from coming off as well.

i used a perfect mix of three to one. three water and one vinegar. i bleached the spot. wiping it down with 5050 simple green and water cleaned the outside pretty well. still some spots but very minimal

do not use vinegar

So I saw it in TC... sucks. Stripped it completely clean except for where the gold is because he didn't have that part submerged in the vinegar. There are still some remnants of the frost around the gold parts. Only options are try to (meticulously) remove the remaining frost around the gold so the gold is not damaged any further, or strip it completely clean and have a clear boho. :(

i wish i could take the frost off the jumbo og design and my fish scale vase while maintaining all the gold. So you think if you use a q tip and vinegar you could get it off or it has to soak?

Honestly I think it would be more trouble than it is worth. I am pretty sure it would have to sit for a while to get it off, and it looks really horrible when its not completely removed.
