kamikaze
After a few weeks of digging, here's what I settled on: Farida Warda ("solid nickel brass") Tangiers #7 bowl package -Birquq: soursop stronger, little purple candy, rangoon surprise Chronic Coal 108pc Starbuzz Bold Code Blue How'd I do for a start? Stuie
Not a bad start. Heads up the Birquq. Cut those Chronic Coals in half then light them and put them on the bowl. Need two halves each time.

Stuie
Yep I am using 1 coal on my Pico bowl and that bowl is just a little bigger but the heat should be perfect. Should get 3 rounds of coals easy!
CO_hookah
That's definitely a sweet order! Love your setup, and hope you enjoy your new bowl!
vendetta_revived
Holy smokes! Way to start the hobby dude! That setup looks absolutely stunning! Nickel brass farida, #7 phunnel, birquq, coconut nats as your first order? I vote for newbie of the year.
Teganv
Agreed with Vendetta. I don't really know too much about the different types of hookahs per say, but look wise, you have a beauty. Definitely a great way to start off this hobby.

Arcane
I was amazed at how heat sensitive Birquq could be. I overheated a Tangiers Large with one coal.... The flavor was Now with Melon.

I don't quite count smoking hookah hookah out of a pumpkin using half lit quicklite coals, a part of the joy. Imo, the hard part about hookah that's worth learning is the heat management of different tobaccos in different bowls, keeping your rig neat and clean, etc. It's also very difficult to enjoy it while learning though, and how most people start (including how I started) is not the most ideal way of doing that. I've had many friends of mine tell me that they tried a hookah and absolutely hated it. Well, I have shown the willing ones the proper way of doing it and they love it now, but I probably may have quit myself a long time ago if I hadn't found this place.
