Nammor Vs. Km Signature Beast

Recommended Posts

Nammor seems to be a no brainer, it being a quality hose and not possessing a huge hose port end. But, what about the KM Signature Beast? More expensive, limited color options, bigger hose port end, but still a quality KM hose. Both boast a wide draw for a better smoking experience. Which do y'all have or prefer and why? If you've used both, which one has the better draw?

Nammor:
Small
$18.99
Overall Length: 62"
Handle Length: 6"
Color Options: 8
Large
$21.99
Overall Length: 72"
Handle Length: 12"
Color Options: 11

KM Signature Beast:
$34.99
Overall Length: 80" overall length
Handle Length: 15"
Color Options: 3

I'd go Nammor just for the price alone but I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts.

The nammor small is too short in my opinion.

The long hose port end would annoy me on a KM. Ironically i think it is better suited for Syrian pipes with the steeper hose port angle.

I also think the KM hose has a metal coil in it which will eventually disappoint you. I could be wrong on that though, i don't know if that particular KM hose is rust proof.

I use nammors most of the time. A word of caution though, some have said the newer namoors are of poor quality. Mine are onder.

What Skoozle said several people on various forums have said the nammor wore out after the first washing.
I reccomend a fancy hose for trying new flavors they are cheap and easy to wash and the draw is excellent! if you want a traditional style hose i recoomend the Narbish from HJ Iike mine! some people like the nogoom hose from 5Star(never tried them) and I think they are on sale this week too. I already plan on picking up some washable hoses when i get some more money in, but i'm just gonna stick with the KM hose that comes with my 1001 Nights...I know these are 2 popular hoses though so just wanted to throw a random battle up for content sake lol

I almost bought a beast today...I've had/have three nammors . a small red(ghosts and tastes moldy ...garbage after four years. a large blue had about two to three years now going bad . also a large chrome which seal at mouthpiece went bad on first wash. all three I've owned are held together with hot glue. my handle just popped off the blue the other day. the grommets have been falling out on all...I like them but they need to fix their seal problems

Go with a Nammor or Razan. I owned a Beast and while it is a good hose, there were two things that annoyed me about it-

1. The hose is way too fucking big... the gauge I mean. I never thought I would find that to be a problem on a hose, but I just found the hose to offer TOO much of an open draw... Ya, crazy, I know. But then again, it may very well suit you. It just depends on what you like. I have determined I am more of a fan of tighter draws, so I ultimately ended up selling this hose, even though it was red/black, my favorite colors. :P

2. Fucking hoseport end tip... The hoseport handle wasn't even really a problem, though I am not a fan of them in the first place. No, the damn tip is WAY TOO BIG! It barely fit into my KM, couldn't use a gasket or even damp paper towel. Yeah, it's that big. Wouldn't fit in my Al Nawras at all.

For these two reasons, and I guess because the Beast has a hoseport handle lol, I'd go with a Nammor or Razan. I currently own a Razan Abu Mahir hose and am very pleased with it, and have owned many Nammors before and have been pleased with them as well. :)

Thinking of replacing my current main Nammor with the Signature Beast hose, actually. Any thoughts on durability and lasting quality of current KM hoses?

I haven't had a KM Beast, but my other two KM hoses (AS Pro and KM Signature) have held up great. The Beast wouldn't appeal to me unless I owned a Regal. I haven't heard of anyone that has fit a Beast into a Syrian hookah, which is all I own so there is no need for me.

I wouldn't get the Nammor small. I have a Nammor large and it has the same problems that rivethead's has. I've stuck to Fancy Hoses and Narbishes for a while and they have both never steered me wrong.
