To try and answer the Syrian vs Egyptian question.Generally, Syrian hookahs are made for from heavy, solid brass castings. The good ones will be "Sleeved" with an internal stem that goes from the bowl all the way down into the water. Syrians hookahs where the stem breaks down into multiple pieces dont have this inner stem.... and the inside of the stem is porous and matches the countours of the outside of the stem.... this can make cleaning more difficult.. soaking for hours is almost a must. (QT stems are this way too).There are some syrians that are made the way egyptians are made.....Egyptians are made from sheetmetal parts that are handformed and then assembled around the a continuous downstem. They are usually lighter than a Syrian of equal size. They are very easy to smoke and are bretty much "full bore" when it comes to the draw... no real restriction to mention. The only real drag about egyptian hookahs is that multi hose rigs have no purge valve.. and you have to unplug a unused hose or hose connection to purge. However... you can make a purge valve out of a supplied stopper and a about $2 worth of goodies at Home Depot.Auto seals are neat IF that is your bag. The one drawback about auto-seal is that the draw is noticeably restricted unless you do some home hookahsmithing

Yeah, I really like the QT idea and wanted to get two of them but all my friends didn't like how there pretty small. To each his own I guess.What about the three Egyptians from SS that I listed above? Are they all good smokers?Thanks.

The Sirius is the same as the medium, it just comes with a bag, extra shisha/coals/tips, an extra bowl (stainless steel), and a fancier hose.
