Matto
Who's going to be in the finals? Who's going to win it all? Do any of you even watch basketball!? I think (and hope) OKC is going all the way. The spurs will be tough to beat, but it can be done. In the East I feel like Miami will have a cakewalk if Lebron plays up to par (since the Bulls are pretty much done without D-Rose). What do you guys think?
DrSmokes
Bulls are done for many factors. Rose is injured, Noah was injured, I haven't heard about Gibson's ankle injury from last game...idk why Hamiliton was benched for the whole second half of last game so we'll see if he plays. I'd like to see less minutes from CJ Watson as he turns the ball over too easily, very poor ball handler, bad passer, great 3pt and long range 2pt shooter, terrible going to the lane. IDK what Thibs is doing but he needs to tell Watson to hurry his ass up and get up the court. Shot clock is at 10 seconds by the time he even starts a play. Well, enough of my b*tching about the team I've been rooting for since I was 3 or 4. Heat are definitely having a cake walk. They just defeated a beat up Knicks team and Bulls are going to be beat in round 2 if they can even make it that far. I would also like to see OKC go...I just don't know how well they would stack up to the Heat. If the Heat are going to ever win a championship, this would be the year since so many teams are so beat up now and they seem to not have any injuries. Giant Ninja Robot
Honestly Indiana can give the Heat more trouble than people are assuming. Hibbert could have a pretty damn easy time against the comparatively small Heat frontline, Granger is an all-star talent despite his injury-plagued career and they have D-West as well. Paul George has the defensive potential to give Lebron fits. That's a big deal. This first round has been pretty unexciting. It was nice seeing Memphis stay in it last night, Randolph has been way below par since returning from injury. That's another one of those teams like IND, if they can click on all cylinders and get in a groove they're a really good team. I hope we see OKC/SAS in the West finals, that would be a killer series. Ironically I think the Pacers might stand the best chance outside of maybe BOS against the Heat. I gotta think the HYeat are going to the finals though. Lebron has had an amazing season. Matto
If Lebron keeps playing like he has been then it doesn't matter who is on him, he'll still score. I just wonder if it will be like last year though, where he does great up until it really matters then chokes. We'll see if he can step up in the big moments this year. I agree about the Bulls, Dr. One of my good friends grew up in Chicago so he's quite disappointed with all their injuries this year, it's a shame. I think OKC/Heat in the finals would be a great series, especially if both teams go into it healthy: just look at their regular season games against each other. Giant Ninja Robot
Totally agree about the finals, it's who I'm hoping gets to the finals too. But take a second look at George. He's a star in the making. Dude has real good perimeter D ability, is 6'10", and has the quickness of a 2 guard to keep in front of James. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUI8NmGhAuo
Giant Ninja Robot
What'd I say about the Pacers huh? Fortunate that Bosh is down, people don't even know that Hibbert was an All-Star reserve this year. Beast mode. And George Hill went off last night, he was spot starting for Tony Parker in San An a year or two ago and would have monster games now and again, went on a hot streak for a while, not surprised. Also, OKC? Well hello there. Got kinda lucky though, if Blake woulda hit that trey other night like he normally does they likely would've lost. But 2-0 against the Lakers looks pretty damn good. Matto
Heat-Pacers series is heatin' up! It's much more interesting without Bosh. I guess Lebron showed why he won the MVP again, but Idk if they can count on him and Wade doing that well again. OKC is having some clutch plays, while LA is choking down the stretch. I bet they end it tonight at home. The Spurs are rolling, although only having to go through the Clippers and Jazz is a pretty easy road to the conference finals. DrSmokes
LBJ had one good game and people say he just proved why he got MVP? I think Kobe has games like that way more often than James (note, I'm not a Kobe fan at all). I'll only admit that he earned it once he doesn't choke in the playoffs and wins the title while carrying the team on his back like he just did in that single game. I'd like to see OKC go on. Spurs are just killing it...even though you think they have an easy road...to win all those games in a row is pretty damn good. Hell, people thought that Pacers would roll over for the Heat and we have a tied series on our hands. Anything can happen any game, but the Spurs have been very consistent. I guess next round will be the most interesting for them.
