My brother got me a shot glass (was useful at the time)...and cufflinks.

Cufflinks don't get much use, however there's a bit of "class/elegance" to the gift...and they look nice on my desk. I'd say go with cufflinks...

Like Ashley, I have a pocket knife that is wood and engraved with my name on it that came from my grandparents last year from one of their trips, and I keep it in my pocket or my laptop case all the time. It has come in handy more times than one. I want to get them something useful, not something that is just gonna sit around collecting dust.

LOL! Such a great idea... My best man would especially appreciate that. He's got a girlfriend, but this is an example of how their relationship is:
