vinyl hose taste and homemade grommets

Ok, so i saw you guys using vinyl hoses and my question is how do you get the plastic taste out of the hose? And i got this washable hose from hookah-shisha with my hookaha and i took the other end (not the mouthpiece end) off of the hose and i connected it onto the hose. Do you guys know how to make a homemade grommet cause i tried electrical tape and it keeps on slipping out. ok. thats all

dont know about the hose, but as for grommets, just use wet paper towel. We lost our bowl grommet on our junior mod months ago, just a bit of wet paper towel works fine

Be sure to take the piece you are trying to fit.

Hoses:Try putting straight lemon juice concentrate in the hoses, about half full. Slosh back and forth for 5 mins per hose. Drain, run cold water though, and let dry. This worked well for mine.Once the hoses have been smoked a couple times u wont notice it anyway.
