shonimus
Here's a good question. If you only smoke half of a fully packed bowl in a quick session, is it ok (later in the day) to smoke the rest of it?
aronparsons
Yes, it's possible to re-start a bowl after a while. It might take a few minutes for the full flavor to come back though because the shisha on top has already been cooked; the bowl has to heat up to get to the shisha further down. I usually just toss a bowl if I can't finish and start fresh, but if you're running low or are poor, restarting does work. ;-)
DizzyGuy
Worst case, get some of the burned stuff off the top
mushrat
I've come back later in the day and restarted..I found it depended on how far along I was when I quit.$.
Thadeus
Yeah, I do that sometimes. What I do is take a toothpick and stir it around. I've been known to add a touch of water to it as well. Just try to get the burned stuff out of there. It won't be the same as a fresh bowl obviously, but it's not too bad. Especially if you have to be frugal with it. Calcartman
I'd think if you removed the burnt shisha it could work; though ive never tried it; i have too much shisha as it is!
EvansLight
yea just remove the burnt shisha at the top and its all good. i remove the burnt half way through a bowl anyways, it helps prolong the goodness of a bowl
Macho555
I do that constantly. I usually smoke the first part of bowl, go to work, then come back later and smoke the rest of it when I get back, about 8-9 hours later. I usually get the obviously burnt stuff of the top and light up, and its always fine.

The Dude Abides
Just be sure to freshen up the base water. Minimizes staleness.

Lukasa
I tried it with LAyalina Esk. Apple and it really ruined the whole flavor for me. It was just... unpleasant. Damn shame because i really liked that flavor too.My advice, dont let a bowl go out and then come back to it.
Sonthert
Flip the thingee of tobacco over so the moist stuff is on the top and the dried stuff is on the bottom. Better yet, pack a brand new bowl.
