I packed it like normal tangiers. Pack it tight and up to the top. I probably could have added ,more which i will do next time. I started with two CH QL flat and as time went on i started to Stonehenge them. I was using tang birquoq.

2 CH QL's flat on birquq in a pico? Man. I have read people saying that they find even 2 fumaris to be too much for that setup.

so last night i had my first goaroud with this bowl packed noir k-cherry two ccn flats stonehenge
session started of great but i think i jumped the gun in dropping the coals flat and scorched the bowl . i returned to stonehenge and it seemed to do the trick but it still had that slight burnt taste to it.
this bowl is perfect for me i am a 1 maybe two round of coals guy this bowl hits it on the mark.

its weird, the spire on the green one is super rough, but the spire on the orange one is super smooth. hope they both smoke good.

i picked up a pico from a site and the spire seems especially small on it. when compared to my mini the spire is smaller and the hole it has is smaller. should i be concerned? i haven't smoked it yet, so i don't know if it will make much of a difference

Eric said that the spires on the Picos are indeed smaller. Supposed to be that way.

Lunch: seeing those colors in your pics, they're way sexier than in the stock photos. I want them!

Smack it around a little bit, get it to work.

Here's what Eric had to say about the smaller spire:

Some people are beginning to see these new Pico bowls in samples.

Two design points I want to mention:

1. The phunnel holes are smaller...to limit airflow so the bowl doesn't go "burny" when taking a full hit like you see on Alien Phunnels and knock-off bowls. Too large a hole on a small bowl makes the charcoal heat up too much in relation to the size of the tobacco available to vaporize and scorches the tobacco.

2. The bowl sides are straighter, making a more cylindrical bowl, to reduce tapering smoke volume that you see in larger bowls (due to the smaller diameter further down). So the bowl will have a flat, full smoke volume until it dies.

They will be released in regular production soon.

i took a pic with my phone but it is being a pain in the ass to upload it

Put dropbox on your phone and allow it to autosync. Move the photo to the public folder, right click, copy link, paste on site, bam :) You now have a picture on the site very easily.

after smoking them, their not as wide pull as my small(dont own a mini), and I understand why based on what Eric said. IT would have liked it to be a bit wider of a hole in the spire but overall not bad. Great bowls for when I smoke by myself.

If your looking for a less restrictive pull you can put a a hole or two over the spire.

anyone noticing a difference between the small and this besides less sisha? I am gonna need tang soon, so mind as well get the package if its worth it.
WAY less shisha, the one I have is really tiny. Other than that the spire is way higher and heat management is a little more sensitive but it smokes amazing.

The market of course.

Anything Tangiers makes is top of the line and will outperform other comparable products on the market :)

ok imma necro-post here but i am really curious today i found that Ultimate Hookah has medium and large Tang Phunnels, ok well that blew my mind away since eric is so far behind on things because of the new line (and doing his tang magic). But what really made me do a double take is that they have Pico bowls left....and that just made me stop and think, how do they still have these? I mean there were only a one time thing atm from what i heard from you guys on here so im stumped, did they just buy that many? Did they hoard them? Are they using the souls of kittens to create them? Anyway i was just wondering.

What's this I'm hearing about the new small phunnels being the same size as a pico? I finally decided to order a small recently cause I just wanted the best lol than saw that sexy purple pico #8 and remembered I hated my alien and ordered that couple days later. Than I saw some poop about them being the same size, that's not what I want. I wanted a bowl for my usual 5-6 people session 2-3 hrs and a pico for my solo or with my girlfriend sessions also testing sessions. So any truth to this?

I heard that the smalls were getting back to their former, smaller size that everyone knew and loved. Not that they were going to about the size of the Pico. If Smalls and Picos were the same size, there'd be no point in Eric making both still. So I doubt this is true. To be safe though, you can always call Eric at Tangiers and see what he has to say on the matter.
