Whats Going On In Your Hookah World?

Recommended Posts

So, I have not been on here much recently, and even when I am things have been, well, sorta dry. So I figure, why not try something like this to get things kick started again, even if its just saying what your latest order was, what you have been enjoying, looking to try, etc. Whatever goes.

For me, I made the decision that with then exception of my Goza, I am getting rid of all my non Turkish hookahs. I got my Elmas 639 about a week ago, and love it even more then my Turkish cafe style hookah. To me, it is the perfect smoke. So I am in the process of selling my Farida, hopefully locally. I will even be getting rid of my Vintage Awlad Sarhan that I restored about a year ago if anyone remembers. I also just got a new order of stuff in, so I am pretty excited to try some stuff I have been looking forward to including Mizo Blueberry finally.

ok, 1,2,3 go.

I recently picked a few things up from Eric

1kilo k peach
1/2 k cherry
1/4 orange soda
1/4 blue gumball
1/4 nectarine
1/4 Rangoon sunrise
1/4 hacitragus
1 pico bowl

Also received my order from social smoke figured I would get in on the summer sale

3 boxes of coconaras
Mizo watermelon
Mizo guava
SS mobster

I am just recently getting into nak and I figured I'd start with the mizo line. I have white grape and really enjoy it. Tried guava tonight and it is fantastic as well. I'm definitely loving nakhla so far!

I haven't had a chance to smoke in a couple of weeks but I should be able to tonight.

I just placed an order with 5star and have some Nirvana Super Shisha, the new Mizo flavors and a pack of Fancy hoses on the way. All things I've been wanting to try.

Broke a vase last night. A word to the wise; of you wash a vase don't use harsh solvents like water or abrasive cleaning tools like base brushes. Lol, I filled the vase up with water and the bottom fell off.

My wife's family is having a big get together at a state park on Fathers Day, so it will be an all day beer soaked smoke fest for me.

Every time my daughter goes into the basement, she yells "HOOKAH!". That's where I keep all my hookah stuff. Also when we go through her flash cards, she says the octopus is a hookah.

Out of all my pipes, the only thing i seem to grabbing anymore is my Maleck and OG Tri.

Due to my hectic life and teething infant I am smoking maybe once a week if I am lucky lately.

Nice dude, glad you like the 639, it's the perfect pipe isn't it?
[/quote]

I'd like to get a 639, the only pipes left I really want are the 639, 622, and 604 from elmas. Waiting to hear back from elmas originales actually to order the 622 and 604. I already have the 618 and figured they are so similar and I usually prefer smaller pipes so will prob pass on the 639 unless one day I can get a real good deal on one.

Hello my name is Chris and I am a Syrian whore.

Seriously though, I have focused my collection on Syrian pipes. Tangiers and Nakhla tobacco brands are still my favs, along with Tangiers Mini Phunnel bowls, and coconut coals (currently using Cocomazayas and Razans, but just gonna buy Coconaras locally from now on when I run out).

My goal right now in my hookah career is to refrain from buying more shit, as I have other expenses such as a wedding and honeymoon to pay for.

Well My name is Chris and I have a problem bought my first KM back in Jan/Feb since then I have bought a Brass Syrian form Skoozle, Nickel Brass Multihose Syrian, a El Nefes Pasha, and en route to me is an El Nefes Giza w/ a Green Egerman Genie Base. Also purchasing 2 more Syirans soon. Also picked the B-line flavors a 7ico bowl and some lucid and noir flavors aswell.

It really is. I decided to make my Cafe style one just for DA, sense the hose I have pared with it is already DA only. In the looks department, it just fits. I was not prepared for the larger Turkish glass, so I am so happy i went with the 639 over the 618. The vase would have dwarfed the stem IMO, but the 639 evens everything out in just the right way.

I also have decided to stop describing Turkish Hookahs as slightly restrictive, and am now just saying you get a "smokers feel" from them. I had already been enjoying some of that feeling with my cafe pipe, but this really is perfect.

I have to ask, do you feel like the stem is dwarfed by the larger Turkish glass? I almost went with the 618, but last minute decided to go with the 639 and after have the set up in person, am so glad I did. PS - I am jealous of your collection! Between my cafe style turkish, and 639, I hope to add at least one more great Turkish pipe to my collection.

Not really a collector, I move too often and have too many other expensive hobbies to have a bunch of pipes around. Still diggin' my KM trimetal which I've had a little over a year now. Need to make a new order soon, want to try out some more Birquq flavors and maybe Mizo Lychee.

I'm with you here, or at least I was until earlier this year when I unexpectedly went bat-shit crazy and ended up with 9 rigs, a slew of bowls and 15 or so hoses. I know thats nothing for alot of you, but for a somewhat transient non-collector it is crazysauce. Especially now that I'm having to pack it all and put it in storage.

If and when I get settled, a fire sale will be announced

Got most of the new birquq flavors, mizo blueberry and mizo lychee. Picked up a syrian tower and a 3-hose marble syrian pipe from omark, both of which are new old-stock Nawras. I snagged Chris' og tri when he got rid of it. Been dremel polishing my collection, trying to get them all pristine. I think I'm most likely going to be in low period for buying more stuff, unless I can find some boho's I like. I plan to do my collection thread sometime in the next week, been too busy as of late to have the time to do it proper. I have a couple videos I plan on doing in the near future.

We can fix that!
Should be moved and settled in within a couple of weeks - everything is packed and in storage atm. Feel free to msg me if you'd like so that I don't forget and I'm sure we can work something out :P

Will try to post some pics of the collection here as soon as I can. Edited by Judy Oma
