Stuie
The man, the legend and one of the best Science Fiction writes ever born, Ray Bradbury, has passed away at 91. I have enjoyed reading his books through out my life and will continue to do so. He had a good impact on my life. Going to pull it off the shelf in the living room and start rereading "Fahrenheit 451" tonight!

gramps
His age surprised me. I figured he was older than 91 because he had been writing for so long.
Epoch
Thankfully he left an excellent body of work behind for us.
ChicagoRSX
RIP-truly an outstanding writer. Too bad not many people read his works.
CitizenNico
I remember the first time I touched and read a Bradbury work. He'll be missed, but at least his tales, and by extension, his visions, live on.

Pavo21
Yah good stuff for sure, its amazing how books still live on in our super technology based life styles. i still buy books personally and sit down and enjoy reading them. but my kids when they are our age will never do that. but at 4 years old they FREAKING LOVE BOOKS! its awesome local library twice a week
atalanta
I was saddened when I heard this on the radio. There aren't may left from the golden age (I believe Ray Haryheusen (sp) is still with us, though I know he wasn't a writer, he defined stop motion effects).
