gramps
They still make watches? I can't think of anybody I know who still wears one.
atalanta
I was looking at that one too, Stuie. I just bought a bunch of Skeleton (shows innards) watches. I'm working on a series of Steampunk wristbands and thought they'd go well. My taste in watches is ANALOG because without my glasses, middle of the night, the glowing hands are easier to read than a digital dial. And I like analog watches and manual shift cars. This watch is kind'a cool: http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Akribos-Mens-XXIV-Dual-Time-Mechanical-Strap-Watch/4382825/product.html

Venger
ok this is going sound strange but I have a rolex I have been looking to sell. Its not one of the super expensive ones. Its the stainless time and date (new about 5k-6k) was my dads (he loved watches) my brother and I have been trying to sell it for years. It is in the box with papers and hologram. I know this is kinda the wrong place to post this but it was on topic.PM me with any interest. I have photos and we can discuss "stuff" move or delete if needed mods i would understand. I also prefer an analog watch I have a $10 walmart watch,a 2k skeletonized Omega and a priceless antique pocket watch. Ray
seefoodlover
I wear Skagen and Movado. Skagen is absolutely the most class you can get in a watch for a bargain. Gold plated steel goes for about $100, and people notice. Bought mine for about $75 in Denmark (where they are made) and absolutely love it. grock
Im with you guys. I love watches, its another hobby of mine. On a serious note, if you are looking for a solid quality, inexpensive watch, look at Invicta. You can find some really spiffy models for around 100$ or less, and none of them have broken on me. I have four of them. This one is my daily. I like to prevent abuse on my nice watches so I either wear this or a G-shock with hands. Glows pretty gnarly too: They make em in a bunch of different colors too. Regardless, that one might not be your style, but Invicta has some really cool, unique designs that are a bargain for a dependable Swiss made watch. Not to mention a lot of them come with a 5 year warranty. Oh, and bling factor: It isnt as pink in real life as it is in the picture. Wear that one when I feel like being ridiculous.
â€On
I am a fan of mechanical tourbillon watches. Mechanical meaning wind-up, no battery. Tourbillon refers to the type of movement the watch has. I had been eyeing it for a while, and this is the one I bought Memorigin Starlit Legend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I6Ko89sb3E Memorigin is actually one of the few quality mechanical tourbillon watch makers that is actually "affordable".
