Shisha Lounge With Bean Bags

Recommended Posts

What does everyone here think about these bean bags in a shisha lounge, would they prefer it to chairs, sofas or what there lounges already use.

Would you like to go and smoke out in a lounge where you would sit on one of these bean bags?

Seems too informal for public use. I would feel weird sitting in a beanbag chair with straingers walking around. I prefer couches to beanbags in a lounge. If I had a choice between regular restaurant chairs and bean bags, I would choose the regular restaurant
chairs.

I just saw the second pic. That looks reasonable because it is raised up off the floor. I wouldn't be opposed to that in a lounge. Just not the ones that are low to the floor; I would feel like I was in an opium den.

They do look comfortable but I wouldn't want to sit in one in a lounge. Not to mention have any of you ever tried getting OUT of them? Its near impossible, think about the older crowds coming in! My grandma always said before she passed that you'd need to call the fire department to get her out of one of these.

I love beanbag chairs!!! I don't know if I would want to sit in a public beanbag chair though. Definitely at home.

Same here. As sturdy as they look, from personal experience, I love bean bag chairs but they are a pain to get out of. Great idea, but probably too much a liability in the long run.

Meh, Im pretty tall too Pavo, and I feel really comfy in a beanbag! But in a lounge situation I Tihnk theyre a pretty shit choice, though I personally wouldnt feel weird sitting in one in public or anything the problem is they really can be quite tricky to get out of and repeating the scenario of clumsy person climbing out of a beanbag next to a pipe over and over every day = regular accidents.

i perfer a nice sofa, my local bar has sofas with like built in wooden spaces to hold your hookah, as soon as that shop closes down, and it will. I will pick 2 up for my basement.

They are good for home but what happens if a rat or mouse comes in and chews a hole in there and makes a nest! And then someone is sitting in it and then baby rats start crawling all over the customer! Ugh that would suck!

Also its probably more of a fire hazard and hard to keep clean.

I think separated rooms with floor pillows can look really nice though. Bean bags remind me of a place where I used to smoke hoookah that was a bit of a meth house, so that might influence my disgust.

There are these sofas and chairs that are actually cheaper than bean bags and are perfect for a lounge (or home). They're called "sofa in a box". Here's the US website: http://homereserve.com/

They come broken down in a box and you assemble them yourself. You can go with sectionals which allows you to endless rearrange the furniture. An armless section runs only about $100. They're surprisingly strong - a sofa was tested at 1,000 pounds. Plus the individual pieces like arms, cushions, etc., are replaceable. And if you get the pet safe covers (a little more but worth it), they're even washable. I saw an advertisement for them a couple years ago and though you don't about them a lot in mainstream advertising, my friend bought her sofa from them and it's really comfy and great. I'm planning on buying from them as I redo my living room this summer and I'm going for a lounge effect at home so maybe they'd be perfect for your actually lounge.

Yeah we got a pretty good deal on our couches for our lounge. they are like futon but the center folds down and have cup holders and fold open and you get lots more seating, and they were pretty cheap and surprisingly comfy lol. i actually feel asleep on them working one day waiting for erica and jimmy to come back from the store. we paid 185

Being 6'4" I have to agree with you. It's easier if you roll off first and then get up. Again, not something I would do in a public place.
