noodle
Last time I looked at Sahara Smoke hookahs, they seemed to have repeated problems of threads stripping out and outright breaking. I looked at the website just now and it seems that they're machining stems out of stainless steel. Does anyone here have any of these new stems? Are they any good? Santino
You can polish a turd, but it's still a turd. I wouldn't trust it.

[/quote] Yeah, last time I really saw people talking about Sahara hookahs, it was when I first joined here few years ago. "Hookah is rusting, HALP!" Not much talk about them these days, and I have never had experience with one, but I still wouldn't recommend them.

Allstar
I had one, I absolutely hate it. Actually it is scheduled for target practice with my 300 winmag.
Epoch
I used one for quite a while. Only real problem it had was the hose ports had fused into the heart stopped being removable. I surely wouldn't recommend them, though.
EAK1791
I had/have one too. Haven't used it since I got a replacement. I had all the usual problems, things rusting/corroding, outright breakage of parts. I tried to sell it to some of my friends, but having smoked out of it, they wanted nothing to do with it. So yeah, they're probably just as crap as they used to be.
Edward Kocanda
See now i have a sahara and i love it i have had no issues with the hookah at all of course all i still have left of the actual sahara is the stem lol. And it smokes like a dream no problems with rusting or any of that. And it hits hard lol i but again i dont use the vase, bowl, or the hose's it came with just the stem lol. They are expensive though and i would like a back up im saving up for a KM at the moment i would like an almas but they are outlandish expensive. But its worth looking into just the stem of one as those are actually pretty good Edited June 21, 2012 by Edward Kocanda

skeetsak
for the money you spend a SS piece of junk you can get a hand made piece of brass...
Edward Kocanda
I agree totally for the cash i could of had a waaaay better made hookah. Its kinda hard to find a decent 4 person though as we usually have 6 to 8 people smoking off of it at any given point.
â€On
Well, for $200 you could buy 4 Mya QT's. I don't think you will find many people on here who would recommend anything more than a single hose hookah.
mattarios2
As stated already, they are junk!
atalanta
Technically my Mya can be four person - there are 4 spaces on the stem for adaptors. I only hook on 2 hoses one for me and one for my BF.
