mattarios2
I tried a diffuser, made no difference in terms of CO.
synthacide
no I was thinkning of taking this copper mesh rolling it very thin, and placing it into the downstem, then at the very bottom leave about an inch and mushroom it to create a copper "diffuser" my thinking is that, the vapor/smoke will have a lot of contact time to convert the CO... am I crazy?? lol
mattarios2
Well, I mean I would just use a copper pipe and call it a day instead of dealing with all that stuff. Every time you clean your pipe you would have to take it out and clean it and rinse it and it will start to oxidize and get nasty, I would just use a copper pipe and make sure it is of good size. KnightHawk63
How would brass factor in then? Would it help at all or just straight up copper for the maximum effect?
mattarios2
It seemed like Eric said either copper or brass would help but steel would work best and when you say steel I believe just plain old steel not stainless steel.
