tukke
Hey all! I've smoked hookah for the past two years few times a week with a crappy no-idea-what-brand hookah. I started reading this forum and reading more about hookahs, and learnt that people put a lot of money to hookah and tobacco! So I've decided to buy a new hookah! I'm from Finland, so I've been thinking of buying from Shisha-net.de, which has free shipping for orders over 70€ I've been thinking of this Khalil Mamoon http://www.shisha-net.de/product_info.php?info=p681_khalil-mamoon-trimetal-86cm.html I've read that it's an OK hookah. What do you guys think ? Also, I'm going to buy a new hose, that is washable. Is this one good ? http://www.shisha-net.de/product_info.php?info=p1505_nammor-hose--largo-blue---white.html I'm not 100% sure if that is washable, can you guys tell? I need to buy me some coals aswell, but I can't use the stove to light up natural coals. Are Instant Light coals really that bad ? Also thinking of getting a Phunnel bowl. There are many at shisha-net.de, so I can't decide which one to get. Are they different? Could you guys link me a good phunnel bowl from shisha-net.de? Thanks all! headhunter
you cant really go wrong with a KM, they are good quality (even though its slipped a little but they are still good) and worth the price though i really dont know how much it is since well i dont deal in euro's...ever lol but if its a reasonable price usually like 80-100 U.S then id say go for it. as for the hose Nammors are really good, and yes it is washable, hope i helped. mustang67n
as i told you in TC Tukke, GREAT pipes, and nammors are very reputable as well. You will be very happy with both of these products
vendetta_revived
Looks like your answer about the pipe and the hose has been answered. As far as the phunnels that are available on that website, I've heard quite a lot about sapphire bowls, and great things at that. mustang67n
oh.. and instant light coals are pretty bad IMO. they're ok for starters, but they give off a lot more CO which in turn leads to headaches, stomach aches and nasea rather often. If you can get your hands on a single coil burner that plugs into an outlet, they work WONDERS for the natural coals, and your smoking experience will be sooo much better. another alternative would be if you can get Chronic Hookah Instant light coals. They can be lit with a torch or a lighter too, and they are naturals too, they may be hard to get in finland though
Pavo21
Oh forgot to add we heard of a new quick light that's from Germany. But they r expensive because they insta light and have no smell they r round coals like most QL maybe I can find them online I forgot the name
tukke
Hey! Thanks for all the answers, here and on TC! You guys are awesome ! Would this work for lighting up natural coals fast ? (5-10 mins)? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kampa-Single-Electric-SINGLE-ELECTRIC/dp/B0029W4FB2/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1340587529&sr=8-

Side note: Is the Nammor hose on the site linked legit? I've never seen a white-handled Nammor before.
skeetsak
email the owner of the site and see if they have a washable hose that they would recomend. i would recoment chronic hookah quick lights if that is all you have the ability to use. im not sure where to get them bc of where you live. the site that you link sells HJ mini alien bowls. i use one every day and actually own two. best bowl ive ever used
mustang67n
tukke, that burner you linked won't work for natural coals.. i've tried it.. lol you have to get the coil burners, the ones with a coil, otherwise it just doesnt get hot enough
Pavo21
What Nate said. You need an extreme amount of heat to light them. Cooking heat like a gas stove or electric you have at ur house. Like that hot
tukke
Can anyone link me a burner that would work well with the natural coals from a shop that would ship to Europe ? I just placed an order on the KM, nammor hose and a saphire funnel bowl.
atalanta
Search the forum for "Chimney". It's something you can make from empty cans and start your coals that way without having to buy a burner. Asuming, that is, you can go outside to do this. DO NOT use a chimney indoors!!! I use a chimney to light my grilling coals. I seem to recall the "mini chimney" worked for hookah coals.
