claytronmeans
Oh lord, someone besides SB copyright the word Co-Co so that everyone but SB can use it. Also, competitively priced anything from SB makes me worry about the quality.

Stuie
hypnosis coals are starbuzz's cheap japs. I have only seen them online on eBay. Just an update... not a full review yet...but man they are stinky while lighting.

Stuie
only used 4 last night. Kinda remind me in performance as old CH coals and appearance and ashing as Shishaco.
Stuie
I finally did a full review. I can't review stinky coals until everyone in my house is asleep and usually by then I have a good rhythm going with Coconaras or Gaia Coals. My question is... White ash would be pure coconut, the darker grey/black the ash, the more impurities.... WHAT THE HECK DOES BRICK RED ASH MEAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Seriously has me worried. Does anyone have any Ideas?????? Not a big fan of these coals. I would smoke them if they were given to me, but as a last resort... the Red/Brown ash has me spooked.

Venger
red almost always means iron.the may use an iron oxcide or an oxidated iron clay as a binder.
HookaH Hodge
At my lounge, we sell Starbuzz 108 piece Co-Co's. I enjoy them, 3% ash and I can't taste any more coal than usual in Co-Co's.
Chreees
3% ash? Also, I'm moving to Jackson soon... I'll come teach you how hookah is really done. EDIT: Uhhh, unless you moved to Southern California, as your info now says...
Stuie
3% ash? Then you aren't smoking it right. Should end up with 100% ash. Not smoking these any more if they have Iron in them.
mattarios2
I will pass on these I believe, don't sound too impressive.
Stuie
So there is now CocoBuzz 2.0 I picked up a box hoping they are an improvement over the first version....well I just tried two sets last night. First Impressions First, they are Cubes. Second, They want to be cubes really bad, but they are not very consistent. Third, No red ash, there's a huge relief that I didn't waste money. Fourth, The coals crack while lighting, and split while on the bowl or when you move them. I love the resurgence of the Coco Cube, Genie and SB2, but I still miss the original CCN Cubes... they were the best. I still think CCM is a slightly different formula than CCN. Pavo21
Hey ash did you also notice that the cubes are way bigger. The 2 boxes we got the cubes were much bigger then the original. They also burn hotter.big turn off
Skoozle
I haven't tried them, Pavo. That was just a joke about them splitting while lighting.

Are they fairly light for their size?
cenlakoke
I tried them when they first came out. Bought a small 16 count box. They are alright coals. Nothing really special as far as coals go. And they are a little pricey compared to what I pay for ultimates.
