EAK1791
So, my base grommet on my Nour is trash, and I need a new one. I know I can use wet paper towels, but I would rather just have a regular grommet and be done with it. I know there was some talk a while ago (I think it may have been Chris) about a grommet that sealed really well on different stem/base combos. Can anyone help me out and point me in the direction of one?

EAK1791
Thanks, Chris! Looks like I'll have to search and see if any of the local shops have them around. Unless someone knows of a place near them to get them. Then I wouldn't mind paying for one + shipping, if you're willing to send one my way. Pavo21
you would think Virgina would be a hookah capital because its where a lot of tobacco comes from but just get some electrical tape and tape up your old one till you can get a new one
EAK1791
you would think Virgina would be a hookah capital because its where a lot of tobacco comes from but just get some electrical tape and tape up your old one till you can get a new one
Cigarette capital of the world, sure, but it's not so great for hookah, especially brick and mortar shops. It's mostly head shops that happen to have hookahs, which was why I was hoping to be able to grab one online. And that's what I've been doing, it just gets annoying when I have to retape the damn thing every 2-3 sessions with it.

Skoozle
If you ever make your way up to the DC area, Check out this place: http://www.hookahforum.com/topic/37461-khan-el-khalili-shop/ That is where I get those gaskets from. They also have some other pretty good stuff too, although I think they are moving towards more chinese stuff.
Stuie
I use the ones from the Mya Expandable I love silicone gaskets now. http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-6295-Mya-Saray-Hookah-Base-Grommet.html I have a couple of the ones like 5 star has. One is super soft like the Mya ones and one that i can stand on and not flatten.

You will notice that in this review,
http://www.hookahfor...ed-vase-gasket/
I call it a gasket. But I understand that majority of people (even most vendors) call them grommets, therefore I do not bother correcting them.
