Rani Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 I have two MZ's. They both smoke just as well as my KM's. Both my MZ's are stainless steel. And although I know everybody thinks brass is the bomb, when it comes to piping, stainless steel will outlive brass every single time. Brass is softer, and oxidizes, (very slowly but it still oxidizes) which compromises the metal. Anyone who knows anything about plumbing will tell you that faced with either brass or stainless steel options, go for stainless. It's lightweight, impervious to water, and will last practically forever. Plus having a lighter stem means the weight of the full base makes it more stable than a top heavy brass pipe. Anybody remember all those reports a few years ago about water lines leaking in brand new Las Vegas homes? Yep, brass fittings failed left and right. My company made a ton of money ripping them out and replacing them with stainless fittings. So when you're looking at a pipe, don't hesitate a moment to go with stainless steel. And only then when a bowl was getting too hot and I could taste it. Took off a coal and blew out the harsh smoke and then kept going. With everyone saying nothing but good things about it and the 15% discount it was a pretty easy choice to make. Where is hookah king located? Anyone know? MZ's were actually pulled from the American market a couple years ago just because they decided not to sell here and we all groaned because we really liked their pipes. Great pipes at decent prices. When you're still fairly new to hookah and buying your first couple good pipes, it's like, OMG when is it going to ship, and then it ships and you're looking at the tracking at least 4-5 times a day like it's going to magically travel hundreds of miles in an hour or something, and basically making yourself a little nuts. Heck, miss the delivery driver and you'll have thoughts of seeing if you can track him down and grab it out of his truck at gunpoint! But as Mush said, Hookah Kings really is very reliable. In all the years I've been here I don't think I've ever heard even a single complaint about them. Your new darlin' is in good hands with them. This is the end of day two and still no shipping confirmation. Also, I don't know if they are aware, but the phone number on their site is disconnected. They shipped both my orders same day. The extension to the stem that screws on stripped out on my current pipe due to it being a cheap piece of garbage so I need a new pipe like yesterday and buying locally isn't an option as their are no places local.
