malakas
If you want to light up fast, 3 Kings or Goldens. If you're willing to wait a little bit or if you have a blow-torch, think about investing in natural coals.Personally? Goldens.
DizzyGuy
Just bought a box of 3 Kings from PYH... yay only 12.95... I also got some of those Japanese coals... Curious as to if those work very well...
Calcartman
I have a box of japanese coals, and i love the way they smoke, but its a lot of work to get them going compared to quick lights. They do seem to last longer and put out more heat, as well as (theoretically) being better for your lungs.I did just buy another box of quick lights simply because for bringing to school, or other place where i dont want to use a butane torch (or if im out of fuel) its far more convienent. web250
3 Kings or Golden for ease of use and price.Go natural if you have the time/resources.
Joseph
I use Romman naturals, cheaper than quicklights where I get them, but I may switch back to golden to save time.
ksblazer
So far I've used 3 kings QL, golden Japanese naturals & coconut coals. I think I like the golden Japanese the best so far. I just bought some golden QL's to compare to the 3 kings, so I'm looking forward to trying them out.

eddief86
i was reading that natural coals last longer and are better and most of all healthier
DizzyGuy
Still, some people will smoke from quicklights all their life and still be as healthy as natural coal smokers i bet

ksblazer
yeah thats true i was thinking about buying the natural charcoal from hookah-shisha.com and the quick light coals from hookahcompany.com
Why not get them both from just one vendor? and save $$ on the shipping? Just curious.I'm also starting to wonder if there is such a thing as a "best coal" I think starting to find out that certain brands of shishas burn/taste better with different brands of coals.
