Mixing With Al-Fakher

Recommended Posts

So I have been smoking for a scant 6 years now. Over these 6 years I have acquired a decent amount of knowledge as it pertains to mixing certain flavors with others using a specific brand: Al-Fakher. The company that I work for is an authorized resale agent and so I have had plenty of time to come to love and appreciate Al-Fakher for its ease in mix-ability, and the delightful smoking sessions I have had while using it. So, down to the nitty-gritty.

The biggest complaint I have ever gotten is that certain flavors burn up too fast while using Al-Fakher and so I will caution you that you might not like some of what I am proposing, but bear with me here. The problem flavors tend to be Watermelon and Mixed Fruit (Cocktail Flavor). To ease the pain of each customer, I always recommend that they mix Watermelon or Mixed Fruit with something else. Smoking the flavors straight will just be asking for an unbearable carbon taste that no one enjoys. To solve this problem, I simply do not mix either of those flavors with the rest of the mix. Let's use Watermelon-Strawberry-Mint as our test subject. The first step is to portion out each flavor in your bowl. Do NOT mix in the bowl as it leads to clogged holes and weeks old shisha that will ruin your bowl if you let it build up. After you've portioned it out (1/2 Watermelon, 1/4 Strawberry, and 1/4 Mint), take the watermelon and strain the excess juice out (I use a paper towel) and spread it out over the bottom of your bowl. Take your Strawberry and Mint and mix them on the counter top, cutting board, or tinfoil, strain the excess juice and spread it evenly over the top of your Watermelon. This allows the watermelon to be heated and vaporized without coming into direct contact with heat. It will last longer and be significantly more enjoyable as you smoke.

I would say that with a majority of Al-Fakher flavors, you won't need to layer the shisha as specifically as I do, but if you seem to be having troubles with a flavor burning out, just use the above techniques to circumvent this pesky problem. I regularly use the techniques above minus the separate layer. If you have any questions regarding anything I have said, do not hesitate to send me a message.

Cheers,

Brad
