Hose Has Dye Inside It

So i bought a shisha from hookahshop last year but didn't use the hose it came with because it made the smoke very harsh, when i took the pipe out and checked the bottom, it was giving off a blue ink and the grommet went all blue. As the hose was washable i gave it a good rinse but it just didn't go.

However i broke my other hose and now have tried fixing this, i put in lemon and baking soda and it seems to have gotten rid of the blue dye inside it but its still giving harsh smoke. Is there any fix to this, i have hardly used this hose at all.

A hose won't cause harsh smoke. Too much heat will.

too much heat or under packing your bowl.

^What these guys said. I believe your hose dye issue was unrelated to your harshness issue. I think something is off with your heat management or packing, but then again, you have 104 posts, so that leads me to believe you know what you're doing...

I have nearly 500 posts and half the time I have no idea what I'm doing.

i have been smoking for 7 years and know heat managment inside out, AND ITS NOT AN ISSUE WITH THE BOWL OR HOOKAH as my other pipe works fine with it but when i add this pipe on it give harsh smoke and i thought it was because of the blue dye that was coming out.

So you know for sure you've narrowed it down to the hose being the cause of the harsh smoke?

I'd just throw out the hose. There, problem solved. Couldn't hurt to contact the place you purchased it from, either... Hookah-Shisha.com here in the States will replace your hose free if you have this issue with it.
