bye bye
Hi guys I'm in toronto ontario. I was wondering where can I buy the cheapest 250g AF flavours? I'm paying 30-35$ per 250g AF! Any cheaper than that? If possible any warehouses in Canada between toronto and hamilton where I can get cheap prices?
mushrat
Most Canadians buy it online i think.
SundayFundaysTV
Yeah I think you would be better off just buying online, I have a few friends staying with me from Toronto and they have both said they can't find any places to buy cheaper then around 30-35 dollars. Venger
Actually @ 35 bucks you are buying the tobacco at 15 dollars a box. The rest is the taxes.
â€On
Don't expect it to be available to you like it would be in the states. You have to check out foreign/import stores and do some asking around to find what you are looking for.
Rani
Import taxes on tobacco seriously suck in a lot of countries. None of us would actively tell you to try and avoid customs and paying legitimate taxes, but.... there are online vendors who seem to have some willingness to work with international customers. What that entails we can only speculate, but go online, contact some of them and see what they can and are willing to do for you. (What I will tell you flat out and honestly is that I'm not a fan of the government (any government) and I'd be ordering in quantity and shipping it across the border by donkey if I needed to to avoid giving them their blood money. It'd either be that or buying the raw tobacco and making my own. Because I personally think governments have become so corrupt and overbearing that it's almost our duty as free human beings to screw them back every chance we get.) (Deep breath.... Sorry, my hippie alter ego slipped in there for a moment.) Bottom line is we can't really tell you how to get your stuff without paying the heavy taxes, but most of us will cheer for you every time you manage to avoid doing so. 'Rani EDIT: Yes, Mush, I know, skirting the line.... Saw-wee.........
mushrat
well Rani, they do have socialized medicine so they have to pay for it somehow. They tax anything thats going to cause them to have to spend extra on you later. Actually seems reasonable to me.

Puts them pretty well into the profiteering category IMHO, but.......... Side note: I have a lot of friends around the world who have "Universal Healthcare" and they tell me they pay for it themselves just like we do. The exception is that a small amount is taken out of their paychecks for health care the same way we pay out social security, etc. That usually covers 70% of the costs of care. The other 30% are covered through additional private insurance if someone chooses to get it. So health care insurance companies still have the ability to exist and be profitable. But everyone has coverage for 70% regardless. We'd do a great deal better to emulate this system I think. 'Rani
Venger
Kinda have to agree with Mush. If I take the 500 a month plus co-pays I pay in health insurance I could afford tobacco at even 3x its current cost.
mushrat
if we emulate their system, get ready to pay the same taxes on our tobacco. money has to come from somewhere.

Considering smoking is one of the least healthy things you can do for recreation it makes complete sense to me.
