Recommended Posts

Thought I'd just make a public question. It interests me in what everyone like to smoke, so I know which brands are good.

Tangiers - best flavours. best quality tobacco,
AF - good consistent flavours. Easy to smoke.

(no longer made second favourite - Smiley's Sexy Shisha. When it was a good batch the flavours were awesome. miss Prickly Pear)

Can't edit so another post:

Nakhla - incredibly easy to smoke, never needs acclimation for the most part, good buzz, good flavor, dirt cheap. Best bang for the buck by a mile, and it doesn't require special packing, special heat management, special this, special that just good old school shisha.

Tang - if it is not finicky for you it has great flavor and longevity though I don't care to smoke for long long periods of time.

I don't think answers are going to vary much from what has already been stated.

My top two are Nak and Tang. Basically for the same reasons as Mattarios. Nak is as easy as you can get and still excellent quality and price. Tang has flavors you just cant get anywhere else and I rarely ever finish a bowl.

AF is a very close third, I just don't gravitate to the washed tobaccos now. AF is my go to for Double Apple, I always have AFDA around.

Tangiers- best selection of flavors as well as the as their consistency to actually taste like the flavor advertised.
Fumari- awesome flavor selection, as well as good consistency on flavor to advertised name. Also, not as finicky as Tangiers

1) My all-time favorite is Nakhla. They cover the full gamut of flavor profiles. Many natural fruits, spices, unflavored tobaccos, and more modern candy flavors. Easy to pack and manage, cheap, and hella tasty.

2) I guess it would be Tangiers but I really don't smoke it too much. I would say my ratio of Nakhla:Tangiers is around 25:1.

Great to see some inputs on this. I had a feeling that Nakhla and Tangiers were most chosen. I've smoked Al-Fakhers a couple of times. Would anyone like to share their opinion on that brand?

Nak= price, flavor, kick and ease of use
AF= flavor, ease of use and great clouds.
and since I can get either anytime I want from $5-$15 dollars from local vendors they are my favorites.

AF is a great brand. Most of their flavors are pretty good some are excellent some are not very good. It's user friendly and generally inexpensive. It's a really good brand for someone who is new to hookah.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it is washed and the smoke is not as heavy and satisfying to me as Nak and Tang. But that might be a good thing for you if you are just getting into hookah.

Tangiers and Nakhla. I just love the taste and the variety of unique flavors that Tangiers has to offer. As for Nakhla, it's really hard to burn the tobacco and the simple flavors they have are a good change of pace from other brands.
