03SilverTL
When i smoked, i usally put ice in the base and put the two middle sections of my shaft in the refrigator(i have a 32" stargate). This makes the smoke extra smoth and cool,, but im wondering, am i causing the smoke to be less dense. I mean technically the smoke should become more dense because that's what happens to air when it becomes cooler. But im really not sure. Any input appericiated. nuschultz
I believe that the density of smoke is controlled by the heat from your coals. Not the ice. I'm not sure if the ice will effect the density or not.
Calcartman
Of course the ice effects the smoke, but not much.Technically it just reduces the volume and increases the density. But remember, by defnition a gas expands to fill the container it is in.So, your vase will still fill with smoke.
