smokingpanda
i ordered 3 boxes of mizo a few weeks ago .. moved it from the packaging to ziplock bags and the flavor is no longer as potent as it was when i first opened the packs .. is there any way for me to revive the flavor? headhunter
well there are a few questions, did you leave the bags open at any point? Did you mix up the Shisha to get the juices mixed in? I know its simple things but after those options the only one left i know is that it just lost flavor because of time.
smokingpanda
i dont think i left it open and its only a few weeks old i do stir it up too

smokingpanda
i sprinkle it in a little over the rim then push it down with the foil then pull the foil off and foil as usual
Chreees
Have you had successful bowls with full flavor before using that packing method?

Chreees
Weird... I dunno man. I've never heard of Nakhla just losing flavor like that for no apparent reason.

smokingpanda
i was thinking maybe the flavor got sucked into the plastic of the cheap gallon freezer bags
mustang67n
maybe.. I dont use ziplocks or anything, just tupperware with mine.. with nakhla i usually keep it in the clear plastic it comes with tho
mattarios2
plastic bags are a NO NO! That is probably why you are losing flavor. The only flavor of Nakhla I have ever had that loses flavor over time is mizo cherry. Other than that I've smoked opened nakhla that was 10 months old that still had FULL flavor.

[/quote] correct. ziplocs are shitty. I use tupperware or glass jars for Nak.
â€On
Agreed on the plastic bags leaching flavor. I use Lock 'N' Lock tupperware for everything, never have any issues. The only time Nak has ever lost flavor for me was when i first started smoking, we just kept our tobacco in the box. After a while, it lost flavor (especially El Basha grape). smokingpanda
moved it to some empty af tubs but is there a way to bring any of the flavor back ? lol maybe candy flavoring or something ... the flavors i have that are losing flavor are mizo blueberry mizo watermelon and mizo rasberry
Epoch
I've found that storing shisha in bags, and putting the bags in close proximity to each led to some flavor loss.
smokingpanda
maybe that did it =/ ill have to invest in some tupperware .. luckily ive got a bunch of haze coming that has its own jar =D
Chreees
Meh, I keep all my Nakhla flavors in Ziploc bags and never have any flavor loss issues. Tangiers, shallow tupperware containers. Nakhla, Ziplocs. No problems here.

Granted, where I live has pretty consistent humidity percentage year round, so maybe that has something to do with it?

agunn1231
yeah, i can see why. It seems youve stumped everyone with this. guess smoke through the bland-ness and try again later?
Pavo21
so no one tuched on this, but it could be you. smoking to much can kill ur sense of taste, it happens to everyone i know, give or take for a day to a week. Because im overloading my sensery's so...it tends to dull so that it can recover. I just dont smoke for a day or 2 and its back. like one day i can smoke say cane mint, the next no flavor and then like 2 days later BAM just your body thats all. it happens with smells and touch also. smokingpanda
could it also be my increased cigarette smoking ? lately i have been smoking half a pack a day
