BattlePope
Hey,What would you guys say is the most people that you would feel comfortable smoking a MYA QT with two hoses? What about with one hose? I only ask since it's quite a bit smaller than some of the other Egyptians that I've been using. With a 32" Egyptian we were fine with three people but with the smaller 14" QT, do you think we'd still be find with three people? What would be the most you guys would recommend for a one hose QT and a two hose QT?Thanks.
guest 606
I have a mya acrylic and i've hookahed with 4 people before without any problems. I smoked a 3 hose with 3 people and it was boring as hell cause no one wanted to talk to each other. They were busy smoking their brains out. DizzyGuy
I'm guessing this depends on how long you can wait for your turn... I've passed my one hoser *not a QT, though* around like 5 people for awhile... Didn't seem like too much of a hastle for me
BattlePope
So you guys don't think the height is going to play a very big role in how many people can smoke it comfortably? Does it produce as much smoke and as thick smoke as a bigger Egyptian?
Sonthert
Should be about the same. Depends if you like a high-pitched bubble or a low- rumble.
ksblazer
I purchased an adapter for my QT so it can have an extra hose. Tried it out last night and it worked great with Tangiers watermelon. I've only smoked from 2 differnt hookas and my QT produced more smoke than the other one I tried. It was about 23" and she said she paid about $40 for it. Other people have told me that my QT draws just as well as their bigger hookas too. So I would say go for it.
EvansLight
ive smoked the QT with only 1 hose with 3 people and had no problem. It smokes as well as my 36inch SS Polaris III 3 hose egyptian.
Lukasa
Yeah. A QT is a serious hookah, no doubt about it. A 2 hoser QT would be really great for a group. It has auto-seal, doesnt it?
ghostofdavid
I have a 2 hose QT with the auto-seal adapter. I love it and smokes 4 comfortably. You just have to remember to keep your thumb on the end that does not have the auto seal.
BattlePope
Okay, thanks guys. Thanks Ghost, thats just what I was looking for. If you can smoke 4 people comfortably on a 2 host QT, I think I'm pretty much sold.Ghost - Does the QT hose already come with an auto seal or is that something you added when you added a second hose?Second, what comes with the QT if you order from HS? I know that it mentions that it comes with free tobacco, coals, bowl screen, filters, mouth tips and a wire basket but what else is included? Is the hose included washable? What else should I buy besides another hose? Also, I'm planning on buying the adapter here:http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=36How hard is it to install? What do you have to do?Thanks guys.
thomasdotcomas
You guys must be lucky, whenever I have a session it seems like 10 people want to smoke. Yesterday I had to deal with 9 people trying to smoke at the same time with bad etiquette, getting the hose and then telling a long story. I like to smoke with about 4-5 people. I think smoking with a lot of people the QT is better then larger hookahs because it is harder to tip over and comes with a pretty long hose. Whiteshadow
I hate passing a 1 hose with more than 2-3 people. everyone keeps puffing like they're the only one using it. I swear I'm the only person who understands the classic "puff puff pass"
thomasdotcomas
I wish everyone would stick to a puff, puff, puff, pass. Never happens it seems like.
ghostofdavid
BattlePope: The autoseal is build into the adapter that you purchase from Mya. So, it must be purchased separately from the initial hookah. Well worth the extra bucks, imho. When I received my order from H-S.com, it came with two hoses. I do not know if this is the norm, ask someone there at H-S if you order the QT if it comes with two hoses. I received a Mya large hose(w/no metal tip) and a washable plastic hose (believe it or not, my favorite hose yet). When you order from H-S.com, you get a bowl and all necessary grommet/seals, a bowl screen, filters, mouth tips, two rolls of coals, 100 g of shisha (2 50g packs of delicious Romman, cleaning rod, wire basket and tongs. You do not get the hard carrying case pictured nor the base protector (it does not fit the hookah) in the free stuff listings. I do not know if the leather included hose is washable, I have never tried for fear of ruining it. Other things you should buy, if you do not have any way of getting shisha or coals locally, is to pick up as much as you can afford. The adapter is very easy to install. All you need are semi strong hands to twist the valve w/ball bearing off and gently screw in the adapter (they are both threaded).Hope that helps!!! NorthEastSmoker
I usually smoke with 2 to 3 other people. I actually find it easier to pass the hose with my QT than my single hose 28" syrian.. the taller hookahs are more likely to tip passing the hose back and forth, if it wraps itself up on stuff.. the QT has a stupid stable base..Also, I agree with you Ghost.. I recently picked up one of the pure washable plastic hoses from hookah-shisha (actually came with my QT, along with the MYA hose).. Definitely my new favorite hose. not beautiful to look at, but SO easy to clean.. pop the ends off, and wash until your heart's content
cityboyyy
i just smoked with 5 people out of my qt ... al amir blackberry ... it was amazing and lasted about an hour... one mya wide hose was used .... all i can say is the mya qt is awesome and a great all around hookah for single or group use
ZAP
Do the autoseal adapters restrict airflow? I bought some non-Mya ones before which fit but they restricted a bit too much.I can live with a little restriction but the ones I bought were really hurting my head.P.S., I do own a Mya hookah

So the answer is ”No” it should not affect anything. It only allows you and your partner to smoke the MYA without the need for any of you to close the hose while your partner is enjoying the MYA.Should you have more questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 866 277-9MYAThank youMahmoud BadawiCEO
ZAP
Thanks Mahmoud.I assume I would need a pair of these to make the autoseal work properly? How much would I have to pay for a pair shipped to the UK?
DizzyGuy
Well... if you get one auto-seal... the hose opposite the auto-seal adapter will get benefit. The hose going in the adapter will have to get the other person to stop up their hose for it to act the same.
web250
I smoked with four other people, so five total today, it was fine.
