MrGuy
All i want is my hookah and lots of shisha!!this seriously is full on taking the p*ss. I have to wait even longer to get my hookah. I've finally been paid and have lots of pennies to invest in a quality hookah and tobaco (after being forced to smoke only el basha and soex, ) i have the money i need, now i just have to wait for my brother to buy it (because he's of legal age to buy tobacco from the US) so then i can buy off him (because i am only legal age to buy tobacco in the uk)Sometime's i hate myself for being so law abiding! lolI'm on the verge of going to my local lounge and spending £22 ($40) for a used egyptian hookah and then £2.50 ($4) for every 30g of el basha tobacco i want I swear im going to try top myself soon if i don't get it!! and you lot are all rubbing it in every week with at least one thread from someone reviewing they're newly purchased QT!!Someone seriously needs to set up a decent priced UK based online store selling quality hookah stuff. you cant find any MYA products in the UK, let alone decent tobacco at a price where you don't have to remortgage the house. Life's hard being little
Oggie505
I might be moving to the UK to work at UNICOM, all I know is i am bringing crazy amounts of shisha in
Sonthert
Save it. With UK excise taxes, you'll be happy to be sitting on a stockpile.
MrGuy
ye, the taxes are pretty big here on getting it in. something like £60 (about $130) a kilo. on the hookah-shisha site, they say they ship packages internationally marked as gift, therefore it doesn't get stopped at customs. **apparently** this is legal because it's assumed its for personal consumption, although i don't see how that works...But yeah, oggie, if you come over, could i ask you to bring sum stuff over and have it shipped up to mine (domestic is obviously a lot cheaper than international shipping)
Oggie505
if i move there i would bring some over for the uk guys, but not sure if it is going to be the UK or Germany
MrGuy
even if it's germanny, it will probably still work out a lot cheaper because its in the EU...wont it? oh well.
Sonthert
Its illegal to import tobacco higher than 5% glycerine in Germany (EU????)...which means <5% glycerine = crummy.Tangiers is approximately 40% glycerine.
rishi
I live in the UK -everything is more expensive here.
Oggie505
well, if i go over there i will get to use my black passport, so aslong as it is for my own personal use i can bring it into germany
ZAP
Where are you getting your hookah from Guy?I'm in Blackburn and there are a few shops to buy them from here.
MrGuy
Well when i can get my brother to pull his finger out his *ss, im going to order from hookah-shisha. i really want a MYA QT because of nothing but rave reviews about them. And plus, ordering from H-S, i included like 800g of shisha with it, and it being from the US and marked as gift, it was all cheap as chips... but they don't accept my debit card sooo...I can get hookah's locally (egyptian ones from a local lounge) but shisha - all i can get is el basha and soex at ridiculous prices. ZAP - what are your local prices and availablity on shisha. What with the 5% glycerin import rule in germany:S that's really wierd...

MrGuy
lol trust me, if you saw our prices, you would be bitchin too.say, i don't spose you americans could sorta push your continents (north and south america) over here, so you jsut touch UK, it would make shipping prices a lot more friendly for us... Sonthert
You're the ones who tried to stiff us on the tea thing...its your own fault.
MrGuy
if you want tea, i'll send you tea, but word of warning, Yorkshire tea is made for yorkshire. we learnt this the hard way by making a cup of tea down in devon. tasted like rats p!ss. Tea is the sex. shame it has enough caffeine to be addictive though (speaking from experience) i need at least 2 - 4 cups a day, but it's worth it - yummmyi wonder if you could substitute tobacco in shisha for tea-leaves...tangiers? Sonthert
No, tea has too much caffeine in it. I drink tea. Strong tea. Alot. Don't have to tell me, I have tea from one end of India to the opposite end of China and back again.I drink it with milk, never sugar nor lemon. MrGuy
ahh i agree totally, milk no sugar (im sweet enough already think you.) one of the worst experiences around is accidentally picking up someones tea who has sugar in it and taking a sip, it really does put me off tea for a few seconds. Sonthert
Yeah, why tea and sugar bowls are allowed in the same vicinity is beyond me.
MrGuy
lol ai.in our house, we ensure the sugar bowl is very off putting, e.g. in a very scratty bowl, with hard stuck together sugar with little discoloured bits and body parts in it. Sonthert
On a related point, Winston Churchill once pointed out that the proper amount of vermouth in a martini is when the bottle of vermouth is on the other side of the room.
