Nerdy
Woot onto 69 =] So I'm smoking yet again, and out of my new km exotica jr. I just put my diffuser on it, the fiancé is sleeping so I didn't want the noise to wake her. But I didn't adjust my water level on it and when I draw the bubbles from it come up a lot. General rule of thumb...how much should I lower the water level? Does the 1-1.5 inche above rule apply from the bottom of the diffuser?? Or? I ask because this is the standard bell shape vase, I only had the jumbo base on my nammor and I didn't have to adjust the level at all on that it being such a big ass base. Stuie
About the same add just a smidge more to adjust the space made with the diffuser.

Skoozle
I use the top of the hole as the reference point for my water level. But I'm guessing your diffuser is different from mine. If you're using a heba diffuser try about 1/2 to 1the inch above the top line of holes. Are your bubbles popping as soon as they reach the surface of the water and splashing up too much or is it foaming up a little? If the bubbles aren't popping right away, you may have left a trace of soap in your vase. I'd give it a nice hot water rinse if thats the case. [/quote] They aren't foaming up or lingering, they just tend to rise together into the thinner part of the bell shape, imagine if you took soda and let it pour into a glass, the foam as it rises is how my bubbles rise together minus the foaming action, and I'm sure that if I had a bit more water in there I would manage to pull moisture into the hose. It was just my laziness and experience with only jumbo bases that led to this question. Yes I have a heba, I'm gonna lower the level tonight and see how it works.
