squidget
For traveling and LAN gaming purposes, I decided to pick up a small hookah. I do have a Mya Mozza but it's just not that convenient. It takes up a good amt of room in my carry on as well as I have to keep it on the floor (problematic for gaming situations.) I've narrowed it down to possibly 4 tiny hookahs. I'm looking for something with a good base, something that won't scorch or be too hot and will fit easily in a carry on bag or backpack. I really like the look of the Piccolo but I'm concerned the glass would not hold enough water. The Mya Petite looks too small to be any good. For those experience with any of these, please chime in. Stuie
If you got the money, I would pick the Piccolo. Also love the Vento! QT and Bambino are classics tried and true. I like the Petite, but I have it, a bowl and hose strictly reserved for my pipe flavors. I don't use it often.
fineout
I always loved my QT, solid little pipes, however the piccolo is a pretty rad little pipe and i wouldnt mind one of those either. I just voted based on my experience
Venger
QT is the way to go. Small but not too small. Uses all standard mya parts. Can take a larger hose ( i have a long handle nammor) and if you don't want to lug a heavy glass base around the stem fits on any gatoraid or poweraid bottle with the QT vase grommet. I use the QT for everything just when I go camping I use a poweraid bottle as a vase. Ray

This right here might be a sale.
Venger
I am currently using a 1 quart poweraid zero bottle as my travel vase. It can seem a little top heavy with my bigger hose but I just make sure it is firmly seated next to my chair or in the cupholder on the top of my cooler. I also use my lightest bowl (a small mod) but you could use the bigger jug for more stability (the mouth size is the same as the small bottle) but I use the smaller one. If you need a picture I could work that out for you. Ray.
Crhiss
I have the bambino and I love it. Kind of expensive though. I also heard great things about the petite and QT. What kind of gaming stuff are you talking about?
Chreees
QT. But the Mono and Vento also interest me.
joytron
I would choose the bambino strictly on the fact it has a smooth heart that is much easier to clean.

[/quote] Very good point, Jess. The QT's heart is a bitch to clean due to how rough it is. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the other choices squidget listed besides the Petite have rough hearts on the inside. I know the Petite's inside is smooth and easy to clean, because I used to own one. Does anyone know if the Mono or Vento have the rough or smooth heart? Stuie? I know you've probably tried both pipes by now... haha.

Rani
I am not, and never have been a fan of Mya. But I will be buying a Bambino at some time in the future because having seen one in person at a local shop, I itched to own one. Pictures simply do not do them justice. squidget
I like the bambino for how sturdy the damn thing looks however the idea of being able to use a poweraid bottle on the go is appealing. Damn, I'm torn. @crhiss these days, dungeon defenders. I don't know why me and my friends love it so much. JTea
Mya QT. It's simple and easy to handle. Toss a phunnel bowl and nammor hose and it smokes great.

â€On
Personally out of these my vote goes to the Bambino, but I would say Vento for looks.
Stuie
It's not ugly! I do take my Mya Mini when I travel but that's about the only time I use it. I also grabbed a cheap Mistubu base of H-S to use with it. http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1034-mini-mod-hookah-base.html Fit great. I bring both bases in a case and pull out which evey one strikes my fancy.
â€On
Also, Squidget, get a desktop microphone stand to hold your hose. I use it all the time while i'm PC gaming, it will blow your mind how awesome it is. Completely hands free smoking! Mine is similar to this one (obviously with the microphone support thing screwed on). Venger
just remember to have it on a steady base. It can be a little top heavy. I have thought of weighting the base. But the best part is you bring your vase full of water and ready to go. just unscrew the cap and put the hookah on.
